See link TradeMe High kms, but good value. First manual i've seen at this price!

M-Parallels maybe, but the first ones are so boring! What is wrong with the wheels Simon has now? Give the poor guy a break!

FOR SALE: NEW "M3" boot badge with adhesive backing. Would suit E30, E36, E46 etc etc Hard to find with the "3"! PM me your offers. Cheers.

Looks like a very good buy for someone at that price!

Tech II is more suited to an early E36. Tech I FTW

Discussed in another thread, but what about the high km bargain at Turners? Sounds like it could be luxor beige too...

+ 100!

Try the dealer. If you will settle with a rubber / plastic one, they are quite cheap. Last time I bought one (a couple of years ago), it was about $35 for a E36 shifter (more modern looking and fitted my E30 perfectly).

What sort of condition is the rubber window trimming on the drivers and passenger side? Would you sell without glass?

Turners link NZ new E30 325i manual with a low 400,000kms At the estimate of $1,200 - $1,800 it seems cheap No photos uploaded yet, I wonder if it is a facelift...

IMHO, the NZ mags do little more than regurgitate car company press releases and there is very little material comparing different cars. However, my two biggest peeves with NZ Autocar and Driver are the lack of used car coverage and (worst of all) how they never say anything bad about any vehicles. If something IS rubbish, why be afraid to say so? I love it how the UK mags aren't scared to voice an opinion.

See http://www.carmagazine.co.nz/ Not sure if there is room in the market for another magazine, but am looking forward to buying CAR. I like TopGear, but CAR and EVO are my favourites. I don't waste my time with NZ Autocar and Driver anymore. Will be much better than my current situation of paying $17 for two-month old UK CAR mags. EDIT: Just subscribed! See the website for an introductury offer of only $40 for six months

I have an E36 328i production date 10.95. Is $315 + GST the only option? I.e., is there no cheaper option without a remote?

Just had a service and few small other jobs sorted by Ishmail (spelling?) and the team at Europa Auto Service. Would normally have gone to a BMW specialist, but didn't want to pay franchise rates and needed something close to the centre of town (as I am stuck in the office from 8am-6pm). I was impressed with Europa's service. They were efficient, friendly, good value and professional. I highly recommend them as good central Auckland workshop.

Hmmm, maybe I will just be extra careful with my lone key....

One Man's Crusade Against The Personalised Plates Monopoly
jjs replied to bravo's topic in General Discussion
Go to plates.co.nz, on the drop down menu click products then general purpose plates. Enter your plate details, and click the black or blue fern plate... Will load up your plate in its new format. Just worked it out......... Its $299 if you punch in a personalised plate, but goes to $399 if you tap in a standard issue one! -
Just bought a new Sony Bravia LCD with inbuilt HD Freeview. Love it! In the end it was between the Bravia and the Samsung, with the Sony winning out because the frame / casing of the Samsung looks too shiny and not very sturdy (IMHO).

Spotted a boston green Z1 on Parnell Road yesterday. I didn't realise there were any of these in NZ. Anyone know much about it? Not my cup of tea, but a very rare car.

Signed. BTW, I think PPL may have just changed their prices. Euro plates are now $299 inc GST and freight. -
Hey, Yet Another Noob In Need Of Some Purchasing Advice...

Have you looked at any E36's? For under $4k you could score a nice NZ new 318i -
Got an email from Germanplates.com a couple of days ago... Probably just as "illegal" as what they were doing before. Anyone on here going to order some?

Is this the car that started live as a 520i, or is that another one? Looks sensibly priced.
