There's no link in your post above, can you please repost? I'm curious to read about this.

That's quite an interesting thing you are doing. What are you going to do about the tune? Surely the m50 DME won't run the M20 correctly, or am I missing something?.

That and the one blurry night time photo of a zoomed in corner of the car.

I have mine in the same place and I haven't had issues. Because there is a gap between it and the seat (at least with my seat), it should be fine.
-
I think those look really good on there.

I'll just post here to finalise, Brent was right, they are et23. I have just less than a finger between the spring perch and tyre but it's enough not to rub.
-
Mine have 225/50R16s as well, no rubbing at all. They may actually be ET23, I'd have to check on the wheel.

Black Alpina B10 E34 in Whangaparoa yesterday afternoon. Looked very nice.

I've got 16x8 ET25 style 5s on mine.

Well he did make it, I am impressed. Who said supercars weren't practical?

M20 731 cylinder head off m20b20. Was going to make a stroker for my eta but I have a full m30 conversion now so not going that way. $100. Will put photos up later. Pickup from One Tree Hill.

Oh I see. I take it the newer ones are the small plug ones then?

I thought I saw some illuminated versions of the original ones online before but wasn't sure. Not hard to find more E36 switches if they do go.
-
That and they are illuminated. Much nicer overall. Can post a picture if you like.
-
Did the e36 upgrade so no longer need these. All worked before being removed. 2 have the arrows worn off. 4 available, $7 each or $20 for the lot. Will have another 2 when I do the back door switches as well. $30 if you want all 6.

No worries at all.

I got my helmet from Chicane in Penrose. Overalls can be any overalls including the ones you would wear in an industrial or mechanical workshop (that's what they give you there). Glasses I'm not sure about. As for the speed groups, it's very relaxed so it's not like you sign your name to a certain group and have to stick to that. When I was there it was just recommended but you could go on and off as you pleased really, just be considerate to others. I'll look at coming to this one.

Very nice. Hope to see it around sometime.

I've heard it causes pitting as well which is no good if you want to polish them. Makes for much more work. Otherwise, if you are painting it shouldn't be an issue.
