From memory that sub frame problem could be found in all e46 models - not just the M3. Did you get your 325 checked? As you're in Auckland give HellBM a call to get a quote for the big three. The seller does say he's gone above the usual servicing so ask too.

Ignore this - OEM tape deck is ugly and useless. I think the bonnet would look grand with some aftermarket 19' rims and tinted windows!

Safest to get a taxi. Don't think you have much room to complain if you have given them your keys and signed the disclaimer... Had a SW20 MR2 GT with all the trimmings when I was a younger man. Took it to a Auto Sparky close to home for some minor wiring fault. It came flying past me doing warp speed 5 minutes later as I was walking home... When I questioned them about it the owner told me they had to road test it!

Would be a shame to see this go to waste...
