If only I didn't have a mortgage M3

Awesome old lady tissue box on the parcel tray

Not being a jerk - but you might find it easier to sell without the trim wrap. I figure this model probably appeals to a mature audience who might be put off by a younger man's decorations. GLWS.

Ok apologies in advance for asking a question related to a Subaru but I figure it's almost allowable due to the part being German So Winger have told me that the knocking noise I am experiencing is worn rear shocks and have (via phone) told me it's $1k for a pair of reconditioned Bilsteins... I've seen some older references on here for getting Bilsteins repaired etc and was wanting to know if anyone had done this recently? If so by who and approx. how much? Any info appreciated - I know nothing about shocks and suspension (other than what I've read on here) so be gentle...

Though I don't much like the colour... Link

Is that drivers door open in the pic or is it sagging? A keeper or are you doing up to flick on?
-
Yep - been there the last 10 years or so... You new?
-
Nope - if they were the same colour and de-badged a lot of people wouldn't be able to tell them apart.

Wow interior looks unused!
-
Poo brown interior! No thanks...

Outside work today That e28 looks awesome - leather interior, motorsport knob\wheel etc.
-
Shouldn't it have a four spoke stearing wheel?

+1

Damn! That thing is awesome!

I like it - aside from the tinted headlights. Assuming I'd have to re-mortgage the house to buy a set of tyres...

I used to always get an AA report. As a result I avoided buying a nice looking MR2 GT that turned out to be two cars welded together and on a car I did buy the AA coughed up to fix the air con and replace the clutch after failing to note they were bad\broken - receipts came to $3k. Over the years though I noticed a general decline in usefulness. The last time I got one for a WRX wagon (that I bought) the "report" contained the following: 1 page of general info that I already had from the dealer. E.g. milage etc 1 page that looked like what you get from a WOF 1 page of very brief body work comments - and the inspector failed to note bodywork repairs that my mechanic pointed out at my first service... 2-3 pages of legalise basically saying they weren't responsible for all the things they failed to note etc... Much better off calling your mechanic and asking him to take a look. Bellars or BM Workshop in Auckland both come highly recommended.

That site should be classified as porn! Nice e34 Alpina too.

Is the engine so tired you can't use the whole thing?

Saw a nice e39 540 all blacked out (kidneys, wheels, windows etc) in Takapuna. Parked behind my e30. No pics as the driver was sitting in it...
