Looks nice but personally I prefer the new S-class. Edit: BMW = Sporty + Luxury while Mercedes = Luxury + Sporty therefore I would choose Mercedes for a big executive sedan... Just my 2 cents

Oh no sorry yes I remember it is the PP one! DHL was another black e39. But I definately know which car you are takling about. The other really bad one in Chch was also talked about in the TradeMe section. The heavily kitted up one with oval types, ugly wheels, M5 badging and carbon fibre bonnet haha

Does this guy's number plate start with DHL (If I remember) and is black with ugly wheels? I was on my way home and saw a "M5" rear parked on Memorial Ave and as I saw the wheels I was like WTF

Would a faulty MAF cause long crank time only when warm? I am also wondering about cam sensor but again, long crank only occurs when engine is warm No CEL.

If I remember correctly the older year models there were no "M-sport". There was a "Sports Package" which included sports seats, steering wheel and suspension. "M-sport" ones included those plus the M-technic body styling etc. Maybe the first owner bought the base but chose te Sports suspension as an option?

Is Christchurch tap water ok? We drink from the taps. I know its best to use bottled water... haha Edit: I wanted to top up some coolant as when I did my service they said my antifreeze percentage were a bit low.

I was wondering if coolants could be mixed? CHeck coolant warning has been flashing a couple times so I think to top up. I have no idea what the coolant in the vehicle is now but I was thinking of putting some Prestone extended life to top it up. Prestone states "Compatible with ANY antifreeze/ coolant – regardless of color." Many people on the BMW forum in the states use this so it should be no problem but I was wondering if you can mix the two for example if it now had the BMW coolant in it now THanks

I just tried to jumpstart using the Subie but no luck. Let it idle for around 3 minutes before trying to crank and I get a slow tick tick tick
