  1. Spot the NZH'ers! Haha yep sure did mate, it was a GTi. Got all nostalgic and checked up the rego, I shouldn't have. De-reg'd in 2008 RIP faithful friend.
  2. Ooh my. I loved this car. A few moons ago now, mind.
  3. 'Boolake fay-do'. Impressive to see just how evenly matched they all are.

  5. Wow that paint is shiny, respray or original? Looks good!
  6. ^^ Awesome!!! Some great sights on that trip! Do you have any more of the mini-car? Looks pretty intricate!
  7. I'd still have it in a heartbeat...
  8. One more in agreement here. I just spent the better part of a day working on a family member's 2CV; it's nowhere near as good as the above in terms of finish quality, but it's something I can be proud of. That's what matters to me; I would find it hard to be as proud of a paint finish that has been produced by someone else. Before: After:
  9. Sounds awesome, in for pics!
  10. Free plug for a stunning machine at a sharp price. Good luck with your sale mate, if I was in the market I'd snap this up in a heartbeat!
  11. Gordy needs to go back to school.
  12. Lol! I spied a frozen bronze 6 gran coupe the other day in Greenlane. It was certainly ... eyecatching. Same as this: Edit: removed massive photo

Thank you mate, let us know! I highly recommend the intake thus far! We waited until witching hour last night then went for a drive towards Maraetai. With the windows all closed, you can hear the intake in-cabin from about 4k to rev limit, but only under full load. With the windows open it sounds like the apocalypse. Supersprint exhaust + K&N sure is a loud combination. It really picks up faster in the higher rpm's (over 5k), seemingly without losing any of that delicious mid-range torque. The only problem was running out of road - I'd love to see what sort of speed these M3's could do unlimited in the right environment.

Mobile Tyre Fitting Could be this chap - photos depict some higher-end cars - but the machine is red (Hofman's seem to be blue from my research). Thanks again Tom Michael - I'll keep an eye on it for sure. Thanks for the link, I didn't know where to start looking! Tristan - lol, I'll give you a call when planning the trip!

Hi mate, a bit early in the piece to do a decent review. The kit fits up flush, easy to install with the right tools (2hrs max), and the heatshield with it's rubber surround looks relatively stock. In terms of performance, K&N swear by a horsepower gain of +/- 17hp from memory. This isn't noticeable to my untrained butt-dyno. It does seem to rev out smoother/easier however. I'll have a better feel in a couple of months-worth of driving, so will chat then.
