http://jalopnik.com/5466691/burnouts-in-a-...-hoon-or-heresy off the same site, made me laugh a bit. Bloody aussies!

Phew, my m50 is a 1991. Seems like you are going to have to get in quick!
-
I know this is a little off-topic. But what is changing with the new cert laws? It's just my car needs a cert sometime too. Cheers.

"I once asked Bill why he insisted on going through every spectator section crossed up and with the engine banging off the limiter. "Dude," he said, "I don't care if it costs me a couple of tenths. It makes the fans go nuts."" I like this guy. haha.

Well that's not that nice...
-
Bad luck dude! Get that headgasket replaced and see you at the meet!

Hey. Welcome. The cars sounds like a good first project. You should come to the meet next month, you might learn a few things and get a few ideas from other peoples cars about what you want to do with yours. http://www.bimmersport.co.nz/forums/index....showtopic=27775

About as lame as it gets if ya ask me unfortunately

My cars a uk import and when I've been taking things apart I've found a fair bit of british currency and tube tickets etc. The car was imported well over a decade ago too.

These are some sick engines. Mad. Some huge horsepower, stock engine, conrod out of block, replace engine, continue.
-
At least the plate is on the correct car, be it the wrong car at the same time

To go alot faster you are going to have to get into forced induction. Pretty simple. Deep pockets and/or know-how is what you need.
-
Looks like a sack in my opinion. Needs hella work.
-
Legend. Took one for the team.
-
Stink about the headgasket leak bro. You can just remove the ICV, Troy did on his one and just blocked it off or whatever and his car literally idles perfectly.
-
Nah, because it's leaning over on the drivers side. Fuel tank and driver sit on the same side too.
-
Does it ever settle down? When I first put mine in whenever I would turn it on it would rev up to about 2200rpm and sit there or go up and down up and down for about 20 seconds then would flatten out and idle fine. Finally figured it out, and it was the TPS. Just changed that and it worked fine. Try unplugging it and seeing if it makes any difference. That revving seems to be just a bit too crazy for just a vacuum leak, but I'm no pro.

Just my opinion people. For me X5's are not good looking at all.
-
The exterior is less ugly than the X5's in my opinion, so maybe bmw should copy them in some respects haha. But yes, it's a piece of crap.
-
I'm pretty sure I was told the one at pick-a-part was a 525i
-
I thought that rumor ended up being rubbish, or?
-
If BMW and Merc can use new engines, then I guess there will be a huge change in the Fords and Holdens as well which are currently running old Windsors and small block chev engines which were designed approximately 450 years ago.

Whoever CrazyCarLover is, i think he has his sh*t wrong too because I dont think that is a mtech1 rear wing. Too small. I admire the guy, his replies are great. "mate mate mate mate mate"
