Yes, the thing is I can always buy another car. But I'm only going to be young and stupid once, and I think in 10 years time I wont want to be running around Eastern Europe anymore. I could always buy an e30 over here.. I've seen some pretty crack up rusty cars around. The best was this R31 skyline coupe slammed on its tits with rusted out panels and a hole in the exhaust. Man it was rough, but it was so damn cool. It was RHD as well, and all cars here at LHD. I wanted to take a photo but the driver looked like the type of guy who would quite happily stab someone haha. I also saw a great drag race last night in the centre of town too. A E34 Touring VS a late 90's Lada. The Lada won by miles. They both went over the tram tracks way too fast in the wet and lost tractions, were all over the place, and then the touring locked up and stopped just in time before it slammed into the back of a truck. Great race, would watch again!

Alloy block isn't the best for FI, you'd want some helicoils on those head bolts. Ironblock REP. But yes, they are a newer engine.

Well I'm off home tomorrow so I thought I'd post some final photos. I have decided that I am going to force myself to sell my car at the end of the year and move back here for 6 months. With the money from my car I have calculated I could live here for 6 months no problem, and if I'm a real tight ass I could proberly survive here for a year on the money just from the sale of my car. Dripped for maybe 500km or so. The same has happened to two other manual e30's i know off. Why dont you check the breather and see if it has oil splattered all around it?

I overfilled my gearbox a bit when I filled it last because it was out of the car and not on an even surface, it blew out of the breather and if i remember correctly it did drip from around the bellhousing. So it could be that.

I was thinking the same thing. If I ever need a 4x4 I'll go with a Hilux, not a $100,000 shopping trolly. If it is, it's still well out of the water

Some of the cheapest shops on pricespy are rather dodgy from what I've been told. A few friends have had issues.

I had this problem. Whenever I was giving my car beans around a left hand corner it would rub quite a bit. Really annoying. Mine's gone now and I have no problems. I know others who have taken it off as well with no problems whatsoever.

PRO TIP: Britain is part of Europe, and Italy isn't part of America. EU and Europe are two different things. Norway and Switzerland are part of Europe but not in the EU. So is a lot of Eastern European countries. What he said.
