Some great firsts. I had an 84 Toyota Soarer 3ltr Manual. I'm surprised it didn't end up like Grahams car. I owned it for something like 8 years. Excuse the 90s photo. Other than the thousands of dollars I paid in WOF fines. The car was also banned from Beachlands in total. Something to do with a boat ramp, some hydraulic fluid, burnouts and a boat dragging its tow vehicle into the tide.

F40 Competizione for me. That sound.

Has anyone seen the Black M5 V10 around Torbay/Browns Bay area. Looks great from the front or the rear. As long as you can't see the f**king horrid colour they painted the poor things wheels. Sounds good though. Fluro wheels ffs.
-
200kw and 450+nm Little bit quicker than an old land cruiser haha. M just means the car has motorsport parts. M3 or M5 is a different story.
-
Right so I forgot sorry. Will write it on my hand or something.
-
I was looking at bringing in a E34 M5 Touring next year. But it would have to be immaculate and I will be required to somehow convince the Mrs. She wants a E92 M335D.
-
I did wonder who was keeping them alive. I download all the tv shows I want to watch. Though that is not a lot these days. I tried doing it the legal way and paying a subscription. But poor quality, slow downloads, And brilliant "streaming" saw me cancel after a month. Ads that really do piss me off are the ones on Stuff.co.nz's website when you play a video. Compulsory and also FULL VOLUME with no volume control. Can always tell when someone is looking at Stuff at work.

I think I have a couple rolling around. Will have a look.
-
I need a wide body kit too. But for the E34 and its massive wheels.
-
Yup been posted in the vid section a few times already.
-
If you still have it when I get back from the states in a month I am keen. However it is very well priced. Will link a few mates to it.
-
It looks like sh*t if you ask me.
-
Yeah they seem to have a maximum ceiling for prices. In the $6K range you can get an PFL M325i and many other manual options. The Auto is a bit of a price dropper to be honest.
-
Pics, specs, whats been done, what needs to be done. But to be honest. You will be lucky if you get $4 to $5K
-
Yeah my little runaround M325i. Black one.
-
One for you Darren. Have a read of this poor bugger in the states with an R35. http://jalopnik.com/owner-says-18k-engine-...dium=socialflow

I past you going up Oteha Valley road earlier on. A mate and occasional forum user on here owns Pitstop Albany and Grey Lynn. If Ray is ever not able to help pay them a visit. They just did all the subframe bushes for my E30.
-
Which Pitstop did you visit? They are all capable of doing this very easy job. Any backyard mechanic can do it. Would love to know what their reasons for turning it down were. Maybe you should ask just to clarify the situation. Be straight up with them.

Everyone judges cars in their own way. For me it is how fast it can get around a track. So I find these "stance" cars f**king gay. Race Car > Fast Road Car > Stock car > Crashed car > "Stanced"

I have never had any issues finding people to service any of the family BMW's. E39, E38, E36 E30's. Modified and stock. Never have I been turned away. I can't help but think there is something else as to the cause of them saying no. And I wouldn't put it past them not wanting to work on the car just based on how it looks. Sacked out cheap BMW's are not something high end workshops want to be associated with. No offense. That's just the way it is.
-
E36 328i. Unless you are doing an engine swap in the E30. There was a near stock powered E36 328i in the BMW Open B that was keeping up with all the E36 M3's. If you strip some weight out of them no cheap E30 can keep up on the track. Some XYZ suspension, upgraded sway bars, semi slicks on decent wheels and maybe a slightly bigger front brake set up and you will have yourself a quick car for under $10K.
-
Yeah we didn't actually come third like those results suggest. Though we did come second in the 2ltr class. To a fricken Juno Race Car. It was the fastest thing on the track by far.
-
Still cranking. Bimmer not far out of it. Looks like it is going to come down to the Merc and the Porker.

Needed to take a sh*t so came in early. Everyone waved me out again. Was gutted. Wasted that silly old chicken cooker RX7. lol
