  1. Argh Sam your a smart guy you can study for exams and still come to the track day, even if you don't run your car IT HAS TO BE THERE
  2. Sam are you making it to the track day ?
  3. Well they make your car look less stolen than the steelies. I think you could find better wheels unless you get them for a really sharp price. If you have already paid for them then i think getting them powder coated a way better color is the best way to go they are pretty cool wheels but black isn't happening on this car.....
  4. Great Project Andrew It should be a toque Monster for sure, What are the details of the Injectors & Turbo
  5. Hey Sam Its been a while since I text you about your 5 stud swap, we need to find somebody with an E30 front hub that has been removed from the front strut so i can 3d model it into a 5 stud version and figure out how the bearing etc all works. I don't really have anything handy I can measure.
  6. I had the exact symption's on an E30 After I replaced the Steering U Joint it still happaned so what was when I pulled the dust boots off the steering rack and noticed the main shaft of the steering rack itself was moving up and down inside the housing as it turned from lock to lock. Steering Rack was faulty even though it was not leaking.
  7. Best engine sound for me would be a Small Block chev with a lumpy cam in a jet boat while on idle If you have never heard this there is a very unique sound of a wet exhaust marinised v8 sounds so awesome. edit Sounds like this
  8. Bahahaha, well said Not taking the piss out of American roll racing car culture in there fox body mustangs vs Rear Mount turbo camaro's are we ?
  9. Or a Torque Wrench some tools an engine stand to begin an actual project involving a twin charged Vtec in an E30 lancia Delta S4 anyone ?
  10. I will go right out there and say that I Know McD's and Burger King is crap but sometimes i go and buy one and a sloppy half cold burger is just dam awesome and hits the spot real good. However I Voted subway because I buy one every week and their coffee is good enough and fast and they know me well so they treat me good.
  11. Cool Video Jason thanks again for the ride, It took me 30 seconds before I realized that was me talking all the way through your lap
  12. Were all waiting for the 3 way BMW V8 Battle at Ruapuna
  13. 42 FWD offset sounds like spacers & cert to be legal and not have awesome rubbing. you could spend the spacer money on nicer rims and get what you want too. I think they look alright but its the fit that will cause you trouble. 14" weaves look pretty respectable if you want in between rims
  14. Well A fairly Boring Update But I made the important part of the exhaust So that I can at least start the car without getting as much fumes in the engine bay. Came out good yah ? I will probably get another meter of pipe put onto that waste gate pipe to keep the disruption of exhaust flow to a minimum then merge it back in for legal reasons ........ Ordered a water pump for $53 but not a thermostat as I refuse to pay $70 Might as well get a Nismo low temp one for that price
  15. I think in most cases the question is not durability or reliability as they are both quality proven products. It is a matter of how much you have to spend and do you require the adjustable rebound of the Koni dampers or not.
  16. Today I have just Purchased some really quite awesome engine management software for the factory ECU to allow real time tuning map tracing and diagnostics The Boys At NZEFI in CHCH are doing me a great deal on it as they will no doubt take away all my money after i go to the dyno on the 8th December Its Called Nistune and here is a screen shot of what it can do In other news I will be turning a pile of tubes into a down pipe I will get pics when it has been built
  17. I had the older model Internal adjustable Konis in my old E30 There were totally freaking awesome I can imagine the newer version are even better.
  18. I asked the guy to measure them and I got black listed too Report listing time ...

    WOF Fail

I got a set of 4 corolla shocks from Autolign for $350 for my GF 86 corolla very cheap and safe too
  20. So for me it is somewhat like this. > Insert awesome night out here < Go to bed at 3am Sleep badly Wake up at 8am still pretty dunk and way dizzy fall over trying to get to a glass of water epic spew epic bombing the waters go stand barefoot on some frosty grass ( winter ) Or go stand barefoot on some warm pavers ( summer ) Cook a mean as feed and pick through it over about 2 hours. Go into the garage and attempt some work on the car but end up laying on the concrete floor and going to sleep on some power built sockets or something Get Dinner
  21. Probably a useless picture and an unworthy bump.... Imagine the turbo totally underneath that manifold and a 2 into one merge collector right where that flex join is, the alternative is to keep each side split right up to the turbo, this would necessitate an interesting loop of pipework on the driver side but it could be better due to the turbo being twin scroll with twin internal waste gates. However its all talk at the moment because these wont be on the car right away, the cost to finish the pipe work, buy the flanges and re route brake lines and tig weld + ceramic coated is far to much time and money , good things take time. I wont rush these. It blows my mind that people still make 500hp on those old shitty manifolds like you see there.
  22. There is a crossover pipe that runs behind the engine block by the fire wall that brings it into the turbo entry flange, when you look at manifolds laid out it makes a big U bend shape ( oem manifolds ) i wont be fitting my fancy ones if I'm going to make the track day. This is what mine are loosely based from. and yeah turbo sits on passenger side of the car its a mish mash of a setup hence why I put my best efforts into building my own custom manifolds which will have both pipes merging behild the engine and a single feed pipe to the turbo to keep the length as even as possible
  23. I can't afford a special Front Sway bar so I painted mine ricer bright blue
  24. Fitted My Ricer Blue Painted Front swaybar. Put on tension rods and adjusted a few bits and pieces. Another total bonus was the original Oil Line fittings from the old turbo match the new turbo perfectly !! Clocked to the turbo to fit pretty good, compressor cover needs more adjustment depending on where Inter cooler piping goes.
  25. Awesome !!! These are a quality product, I helped Riley put his ones on. But your not going adjustable end links on the front ?
