11.9L/100km round town driving.

OK, I'm wrong... it's a Zender kit.
-
Well this is turning into a bit of a family thread isn't it! Already told you Matt, it's a M Tech Kit. The front piece you're missing looks like this pic. I believe you're also missing the wheel arch flares too.

Paypal is really easy to set up... takes all of 5 minutes.

Does it bother you that "SS" has a few negative connotations when associated with Germany? (Nazis etc) Just a thought if you'd like to sell stuff to Jewish car enthusiasts.
-
E36 sideskirts are universal OP, please put a price and some pictures up as per forum rules. Cheers!

If the outermost lights aren't on except when you have full beams on, then the low beam bulbs are probably just blown.
-
Also, pretty sure the colour is Boston Green Metallic, not Oxford. Oxford is darker and doesn't have the metallic flake running through it. Lovely car though. Makes me think about moving back to an E36 that's for sure!

A Mod repost is a significantly worse offence that a noob repost. Ban?

Ep 2 was sweet! My three favourite affordable performance cars all in one challenge. Love how the M3 still beat the others even with the buggered suspension. Interior was DREADFUL though... I can see why he got it so cheap!

I have one with a small tear that I've nana-sewn up. $20 incl postage. PM me if you want it.

Just get them from the dealer. Second hand ones will most likely be very brittle, and most break off when removing the sill covers anyway. I'd guess they'll be about $3 each. That's what the door clips cost last time I bought some.

Every 3 or 4 months, like clockwork, a relatively new member starts a thread like this, and they all end the same way: The mods have a discussion about the member(s) in question and decide the best course of action to take. Usually we let it die down, we let a few big egos deflate and everything returns to normal. Unfortunately this won't be the last thread of this type. I am closing this thread because there will never be an agreement reached between the two sides here. Debate will continue to rage like a particulary heated episode of "Neighbours at War". For your own sake, please do not start another thread questioning this decision. If you have an issue with the way this forum is moderated, contact the moderators directly via PM. Otherwise, play nice... stay on topic and please, for the sake of my and others' sanity: a) Search before posting and b ) Don't discuss illegal activities. Remember, we're here to talk about one common interest - BMW's... let's keep it that way. CLOSED.

3) The ambient temp sensor sits in the engine bay, on the support rail close to the fog light near the left hand side of the radiator (if you're standing at the front of the car). It's a wire with a small black sensor on it about the diameter of a pencil. I'm almost 100% sure this will be why your temp is reading wrong, it will be broken or missing.

The threads that have been closed have been related to a certain member who has arrived on the forum and rather than sit back and see how things are done (lurking)... he has jumped in headfirst and started posting new threads every 5 minutes. Moderators do this regularly when new members get all excited about finally purchasing a BMW and post new threads about subjects that have been covered numerous times. That's fine, and someone usually suggests that they "do a search" for the info... but when they continue to start new threads out of sheer laziness thinking they can just be spoon-fed answers, then that's where we step in. @CliffDunedin, I don't think you realise the extent of what goes on behind the scenes - in the Moderator's only forum - to control unruly members and keep the peace on this forum. We're all volunteers, helping out to ensure everyone can enjoy the site. You seem like someone who likes to continually question authority, and that's all well and good, but we're just following the rules as set out by the administrators. So if you don't like it, get out.

I'm picking Germany v Netherlands in the final. Go the Dutchies!
-
Underdash panel would be a good start. Then 15" baskets, lower it slightly and lip and you're pretty much sorted.
-
^Don't you already have one Mark? Stop being an ACS hog! When I clicked on this thread yesterday I was rather excited... but then saw the wheel was flocked, if it was leather I would have bought it.

This stuff is also pretty awesome in place of expensive racing grille mesh. Looks tight, and at only $14.98 a 5m roll it's a steal!
-
OP's post made the least sense of any post I have read on Bimmersport... and that includes posts from Chinese spammers selling fake Rolex watches.
-
Standing ovation Ian! Awesome job!
-
Heath... you're a f**ken legend! Thanks mate, really appreciate it! That's a lot of typing.

My other brother wants to buy a Pug (traitor)... specifically this one: http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=300113773 Any or all advice on things to look for, common problems, maintenance required etc would be most helpful. I did a bit of Googling but can't find too much info on this model specifically. Thanks in advance!

Why can't you colour code it? Any good paintshop will be able to do that for you.
