Click the circling arrows icon in the top right hand corner of the reply box. Firefox has a problem with the rich text editor, change it to standard and it will work fine.

^^ Hehe ... more Bimmersport incest!

I assume this was the "joke" competition. ^6'er isn't a "donk". They have massive wheels and suspension raised to stupid heights. Wheels' look like 24's though!

^ Are Goodridge lines any good? Anyone have a set and care to comment?

Aftermarket taillights generally aren't the same quality as OEM items. Perhaps some silicon sealant around the seams of the lights would help? Also, I found when I installed aftermarket lights on my E36 that they didn't sit quite flush and some adjustments had to be made. Take a look and see if there are any glaring irregularities in the fitment.

Nice tasteful mods! Car looks really good, unique colour too. To lower the front contact forum sponsor Keith (username SUSPENSION) and see if he can sort you out with some new springs.

The black pf/l on TM? Can take a look at it for you if you like... may have some time tomorrow. PM me.

^Yeah, they're vaders Nick... but the vader headrests have been replaced with standard ones (could have come from factory like that) To OP... I'm not aware of SA E36 M3's being detuned.

I believe train is cheapest at about $550. I had a couple of quotes on cars from Hamilton to Chch on a truck... was about $7-800. If you get cheap ferry tickets, you could drive yours to Chch and drive the other back. EDIT - I think this whole deal has something to do with the double engine bay dragon shot posted last night. More BS incest! Love it!

Want to rid my E30 of it's spongy brake pedal. The brakes are good when freshly bled, but after a good Summit road thrashing the pedal has far too much travel. Currently have EBC pads and running DOT5.1 fluid. Next step is braided lines. Does anyone have any experience with UUC braided lines? - http://www.modbargains.com/_e/E30_Brakes/p...s_E30_3_325.htm Or is there someone in NZ who stocks or can source these or another brand for me?

LOl at comments relating to the supposed "exodus" to Sella. Sella will be losing money hand over fist at the moment trying to tempt buyers/sellers over to their site. Do you not think that once they get a decent audience they're going to do the exact same thing as Trademe and bump up their prices to initially cover costs and then make a profit? New Zealand isn't big enough to succesfully sustain more than one nationwide auction site. = Trademe is a necessary evil and as has already been said, it's still a hell of a lot cheaper than other traditional forms of advertising.

I heart Strat1

He's probably accidentally put the reserve at $2500, instead of $12,500. Bet it gets pulled before the end of the auction.

Both cars in the links have Msport bodykits. The slats/mesh are interchangeable however mesh was only standard on M3's. The M Sport models had the slats.
-
Wheels on the blue car are genuine. The replica (rep) versions of the M Double Spoke wheels don't have "BMW" stamped on the face, only the word motorsport.
-
Can't tell for sure without build sheet.... but basic cloth interior is a giveaway as is high-riding suspension on the 17's.
-
Your old car is just a bog standard 323i with M-logo door mouldings and what appears to be wheels from an E39 5 series. Out of the two links you've posted the black one (which is a members car) will have the motorsport suspension package. The blue one is just a standard 328i sedan with an M-sport body kit and wheels thrown on it.
-
Your car is a LHD US-spec M3? Wow... rare over this side of the world.

If an E36 is a boxy eyesore... what does that make E30's?

I have a 1000d. It's a good beginners SLR. The colour reproduction isn't as accurate as some more expensive cameras with better CCD sensors, but it takes good shots. The kit lenses aren't all that great. But the 55-200 is handy for motorsport photography. At the end of the day though, the equipment is only a small portion of what makes a good photo. Having an eye for a good photo is what counts. Here's a couple of shots I've taken with the camera so you can get an idea of picture quality with the kit lens. EDIT: First and third shots were taken using a circular polarising filter... helps to remove glare and reflections.

Nice, that turned out really well! Might try and do some ACS stripes on mine. Or maybe not. I was never very good at colouring between the lines.

The internet's most controversial BMW enthusiast Mike Burroughs has just finished the S54 swap into his E36 coupe. Skip past the wank at the front end of the video to hear the S54 with individual throttle body stacks running at full throttle. It's like a sleeper M3-GTR racecar! Link below. Mike Burroughs - S54 swapped E36 I want one.
