Matt's pa-rents - pulled up to John's house at about 7 or 8 Gave John his choccy fish and said "yo see ya later" In just a few hours it will be finally here. The red 528 with slight balljoint wear.

Is this the car that was for sale at Economy Cars? That thing was pretty beat up when I went to look at it. Best of luck getting it back in good nick. Have to agree with Andrew above, can't believe a stock 323i could even get a look in against a WRX or soarer.

Yeah, you just need to post him your climate control unit, he'll fix it and send it back.

Heater issues will most likely be a damaged resistor in the climate control unit. PM "MSpec" he can fix it for you cheaply. Speaker is most likely just old and damaged... have you tried swapping it for another one to see if it is the speaker causing the problem? As for door clips, the dealer has them. Just take a broken one in so they can match it up. They're about $3 each from memory.

What about the thousands that rolled out of the BMW factory....

Just spoke to Matt and he said the guy called him and told him it was too much hassle for him to ship the car or wait for him to pick it up so he sold it to someone else for less money. WTF?! I'm pissed... (as I'm sure Matt is)... I think we need to bring this guy down with some bimmersport justice.

Yeah, they're not garish by any means... here's a pic of one on my old E36. Can hardly notice it.

RE: Plates... find some Europlate frames. They bolt to the car and then the plates just slide in to the frames. Saves tape, and no holes drilled into the plates. Not sure if you can buy them in NZ, but germanplates.com sell them.

Will have to do a lineup. The E30 dwarfed by the two E28's!

Different car Atta. This one is a UK import, the one you looked at was NZ new and had done 125,000k's. I checked the old thread before I went to look at it.
