Haha... would you be creeped out if someone paid $149 for a giant canvas mounted print of your gf? (Not saying I'm going to do that... but it would be funny)

Twin carbs will sound far more horn and in keeping with the era of the car.

Spotted on Salisbury Street this afternoon. OY7776 - 1986 M535i ... black, manual..... very nice!

I would've spent all day taking pictures of the girl... never mind the cars!

A black headliner is a sign of a genuine Motorsport E30, but not an E36. Not really any such thing as a "genuine Motorsport E36"... this is because E36 motorsport options are pretty much all cosmetic so retro-fitting the bodykit and other options is fairly simple. Exhaust mods can improve performance. Like all mods, a google search will help you determine average power gains. Also check out E36coupe.com, a good site for E36 owners.

You may want to check out the legality of what you're doing. It's actually illegal to run a raffle unless all the prizes are new and unused. Also, you require a license to run the raffle if the total value of prizes is more than $5000 Check the rules out here: Lotteries and raffles rules

I've reopened this thread as Shane has PM'ed me and mentioned that he is keen to purchase this car and genuinely interested in opinions on the condition and price. Lets keep it on topic though and no seller bashing.

^^^Not completely true on the bodykit point there. I believe most Motorsport kits fitted to non-M3's have slatted inserts in the front bumper rather than mesh, regardless of them having twisty sideskirts or not. But yes, all differences are cosmetic except for a slightly lower suspension which would have a fairly negligible affect on handling and performance.

Buy an MX5... bulletproof and actually a whole lot of fun to drive (if you can put up with being called a hairdresser).
-
Sounds awesome Ian... is this perhaps a "pre 6-speed conversion" dyno run to compare power figures?

That clip is from Thailand. (Flag marshall's box at the very end of the clip has "Chonburi Raceway" written on it, which is a province near Bangkok) Obviously both drivers had a severe case of the "red mist" going on. I wonder if the Civic just waited for the Integra to lap him just so he could get payback! Both were being utter dicks though, would have loved to see the post-race punchup!

Orbital polishers are far better as they don't hologram due to the random motion of the motor. Looking at the pics you have hologramming from someone who doesn't know how to properly use a rotary polisher / buffer. I'd ask for my money back. IMO most "detailing" places in New Zealand are sh*t. They use generic products and a rotary polisher regardless of paint condition or type. A proper detail will take a whole day and include a wash, clay, paint correction, varying grades of polish / pads for the orbital or rotary polisher and finally a quality wax. Don't put up for rubbish work... if they get away with it they'll keep doing it to more customers cars.

Neither can this! Car looks good, agree with AJ's comments.

Hot! Same wheels as mine! Wonder what reserve is? The guy really has no idea what he's got so it could go either way... e.g: Really overpriced or really underpriced.

Perhaps BMW reset the odo when the engine was replaced? (See answers to Q's)

I play a bit of Team Fortress 2 on PC... that's about it. Oh, and Rockband on PS2 but that doesn't count cos it's not online.

Chuck up a link to the auction so it's easy for us to find. Good luck with the sale!

There isn't any compelling reason to buy a standalone. I know quite a few people who've bought PS3's simply for the Blu-Ray, they've never played a game on them ever. Just buy the optional remote with it and you're set.

Hi Eric, welcome to Bimmersport! Nice E39... there are a few members on here who will be able to give you advice on the iphone, they'll rear their heads soon I imagine!

The photos look like stills from the music video for Aerosmith's "Dude looks like a lady"

1 zillion percent more awesome! Love the red time attack with the blue... looks good!

Stock power accounting for drivetrain loss is 101kw or 136hp So given that is for a brand new engine... I'd think around 95kw is reasonable, given that some of those dyno charts posted of stock engines are putting out similar numbers.
