  1. Have emailed this around work etc and have already had people asking me what my bottom dollar is. Or offering me silly money for it. I love how this is already an absolute bargain but people are still trying to haggle! Perhaps I should have listed it at retail and then let people haggle me down to $16k! Haha!
  2. Yes, I believe that someone would have raised questions about why I'm selling a brand new car for thousands below RRP! Clinton.. I hope to get good money for the car, but just put a low starting bid to attract attention. At the end of the day the price I was offered by the dealer to buy it back was laughable. They make a LOT of money on these cars. It is an absolute steal... someone will get a bargain... but hey, every dollar we get for it is another dollar more than we had to begin with.
  3. ... actually my girlfriend won this in a competition and while I've yet to convince her to use the cash to buy me an E36 M3, I have convinced her to sell it! Please spread the word to anyone you know who might be in the market for one of these cars. This is a 2010 Limited model with all the cool bits like alloys wheels, extra airbags, sh*t-kicking stereo etc, that you can buy for potentially less than a base model, used car. Check out the Trademe auction here Cheers, Mark.
  4. Bit of a nothing thread here. I think that'll do chaps.

    Quick question

Hahaha Glenn! Starts with F and ends in "uel tank"?

    fuel saver

Every time one of these threads comes up I have the same thing to say. Q: If these devices actually save you fuel then why haven't the car manufacturers built them in to their production cars? Why isn't the person who invented the device filthy rich from selling it to Toyota, VW, or Audi? Why are they instead peddling their device on the internet for just two easy payments of $29.95? A: Because they're a croc of sh*t. And don't do jack. Want to save money on fuel? Bike to work.

    Running forums?

Ask Forrest. He likes to run a lot... as his nickname suggests.

    Bugger !

So the 328ti is the new loan car now Glenn?
  9. I used to see that car all the time driving through town... woman driver. Not many Dakar Yellow compacts around. Probably tried to beat the yellow arrow, too much right foot.
  10. Audi S6 4.2 V8? Fast, comfortable and grippy.
  11. Sorry, but rears are definitely 4" or 5.25" and fronts are definitely 5.25". Check out Bavarian soundwerks who supply direct drop-in replacement speakers for the E36. They quote the exact same sizes I have. BavarianSoundwerks
  12. Always, 5.25" in front... can vary in back. Either 4" or 5.25" depending on spec of sound system.
  13. Just posted this for lulz... let's see if he can pick up sarcasm without help of sarcasm font.
  14. Damian, please refrain from consistently posting new threads on this same topic. I have merged with your old thread again. If you're not having much luck perhaps that is because no one has any appropriate wheels for sale. Cheers, Mark.
  15. Yeah... if you decided to weld an E34 nose on to an E36 I'd immediately get on a plane, taxi to your house and punch you in the nose Facelift grille conversion requires a new nose panel as well as the grilles. About $200 new from BMW.
  16. Sorry to dredge this up again but just found this old thread I started on the same car back in November 2008. Car had already been up for sale on TM for at least a year at that point. http://www.bimmersport.co.nz/forums/index....c=18937&hl=

    Badge relocation.

A spray can of wax and grease remover and dental floss will do the trick. If you have the patience to scrape off the old adhesive off the badge then you can replace it with the double-sided foam tape and use the badge again. I did this with my 325i badge which I got used off a wrecked car.

    E30 questions

Fitting Mtech I kits to facelift cars is a pain. Get the angle grinder out and start sawing sh*t. The headlight wipers only work when the headlights are on. And only once every 30 seconds. Turn the lights on and then pull the windscreen wash lever. If nothing happens the headlight wipers are screwed. 99% of them are anyway.
  19. Haha must've been coming or going from work... what were you doing in Chch?
  20. Welcome to BS Michael... hope to see you at the next meet when all us CHCH boys pop down to Tima-Vegas for the racing on the 27th. Details here: Chch to Timaru meet - 27th March
  21. WTF is that piece of sh*t... Burn it.
  22. Welcome mate. Nice car! Don't buy a Supercheap buffer... they're about as useful as rubbing your cat over your car. Buy a proper random orbital polisher, or get a detailing place to do it for you.

    euro plates

+1 to double-sided foam tape... about $4 a roll from Supercheap.
  24. If it's the black one in Palmy North, it looks pretty ragged. Need pics and more history on the car to make an informed guess on price.
