Have you got a working electric aerial? Also keen on any tools in the tool kit.
-
It's about 800MB... on my crap connection it took about 2 hours.
-
^No worries mate... Good luck with polishing, hope your sanding arm is ready for some punishment.
-
Halfway through downloading CS4... bear with me Nick.... CS2 won't run properly on my 64 bit Windows 7 PC.
-
Awesome... first Westy's E46/E30 and now your E36/2002. Loving the frankenstein BMW's!

Painting the the centres of your rims the same colour as the car would look cool. Gold or that other blue would look to garish IMHO.

Where did the 13.7kw gain come from? If you're taking the gain from the estimated 90rwkw figure, that's an 18.7kw gain... or from the first run then it's a 6.7kw gain. Regardless, that's a pretty good showing from headers and a remap. Accounting for the generally accepted 20% drivetrain power loss you're putting out 10hp more at the flywheel than factory figures.

Haven't driven any of them... but FWIW, the Ford Ranger won the best ute shootout in New Zealand 4WD magazine.

A pill for the shy and socially awkward would be my guess... But knowing what you do Atta I'm assuming it is some sort of internet-based app?

Cool! If only it was a nice beer.
-
No sorry, couldn't find a manual one in Chch to take for a spin.
-
Selespeed's are problematic, but I guess you'll be buying manual? I looked into these a while back and from my research they're pretty solid for Alfas. A quick google for common problems will let you know what you're in for.
-
Pretty sure this is not an E30 trunk... it was captioned as one.
-
Changed thread title to stop all us E30 fanboys from getting excited.
-
Now I can see it. Yuss! Beautiful clown-shoe you've got there.

Hey Dylan... have removed your pics cos they're enormous. Jump on the net and visit Irfanview.com. It's a good image resizer. Just open it up, select File > Batch Conversion then add all your pics to the list, set the settings size to 800x600 and click go. This should sort your problem. Look forward to seeing the pics once resized.

I work for Mediaworks Radio (formerly Radioworks) in Christchurch. As far as I know, most of our stations around the country don't have RDS technology set up. Our More FM station in Christchurch does, so does one of our opposition stations ZM. I'm not sure why we haven't implemented this technology, especially considering most of our broadcasting equipment has been updated within the last year. It has been brought up with management however. One reason I can think of for us not using it is that RDS is most useful for Traffic updates which aren't that important outside of Auckland! Perhaps if you and others brought this to the attention of our bigwigs, something may get done about it. The best person to contact would be Mediaworks Radio CEO Sussan Turner. PM me if you are serious and would like her email address.

I'm gonna go with newer cars and ones that are generally just sh*t to drive not because of how old or badly maintained they are, but just cos' they're sh*t. #1 2009 Jeep Wrangler 2.4l petrol. Shoddy American build-quality, slow as a wet week, handled almost as well as an aircraft carrier (not as dynamic) and forever going back to the dealer because another strange light had popped up on the dash cluster. #2 2006 Mitsubishi Challenger. Possibly the only car that can make everyone car sick - including the driver - on a trip to the dairy. Soft suspension made it worse to ride in than the Interislander tackling 6 foot swells. Petrol V6 made a lot of noise when you put the foot down, but noise didn't equate to forward motion. #3 2003 Mini Cooper automatic. Want to know how to turn a quick, sharp handling hot hatch into a steaming turd on wheels? Tick the automatic gearbox option. Couldn't ever decide which gear to stay in, steptronic was so slow you could say your ABC's between gearchanges and the stiff, bumpy suspension that added to the fun in the manual version made the auto version even more maddening. It also gave you time to notice the cartoon-like interior and cheap plastics.

While searching for new Wheeler Dealers episodes to watch I stumbled across a series called "A Car is Born" where British television personality and amateur mechanic Mark Evans builds a Cobra kit car from scratch. Turns out this is the first of many different vehicle restorations he has done. I've since watched "A Car is Reborn" where he restores an E-Type Jag and I'm currently watching "An MG is Born" about the restoration of an MGB Roadster. Mark Evans is a bit of a goober and his jokes are pretty cheesy sometimes, but the programmes are very entertaining and informative. It almost makes me want to tackle a restoration project myself! A quick Google for "Mark Evans" shows many more series in the same vein as these. I'm currently downloading "A Racing Car is Born" about his build of a Lotus 7 kit car for clubman racing. He's even restored a helicopter, an airplane, motorcycles, and a Range Rover purpose built for sport off-roading. Here are the links to the three series readily available on Streetfire.net: A Car is Born - AC Cobra 427 Replica A Car is Reborn - Jaguar E-Type Roadster 4.2 Series I An MG is Born - 1974 MGB Roadster Link to Mark Evans website Well worth a watch... even if you are pretty au fait with pulling a car to bits already.

Saw Charles28 driving down Moorhouse Ave today. Tried to catch up with you but got stuck at the lights. Car sounds tough... nothing like a stock M20 normally does!

You're fully covered, so no worries there. The only thing your insurance company might try to do is encourage you to take the car to their chosen repairer. You have the right to choose a repairer, no matter the cost, so long as they are an approved repairer of the insurance company (which most are).

Have you tried Autohausaz.com? I bought some parts from them recently and they were very reasonably priced compared to buying new from the dealer here.
