  1. Looks great Ashkan! Not to happy with that Sh..t you have rapt my headers in tho. Very Tuff!
  2. Different animal M3! Very different procedure to M52 vanos seal replacement.
  3. Great result Richard, as you would have read seals crap out a lot earlier than yours have. My car was playing up at 48k. Takes about 160kms to reach full benefit.
  4. Perfect for a horse float!
  5. I have M42/43 SS headers, can do cheap.
  6. My mate Dean has his for sale. Mint, six speed.
  7. Ha Ben, no worries, I have my M52 OEM units here if you want them. And when you sort your welding out will give you a stainless shorty set for your project finale.
  8. LHD headers will not fit! Not even close, hits the steering shaft and rack. Some LHD units will fit 5 and 7 series.
  9. If your car is imported you will have a 3/2/1 exhaust system. Just post of cats there is a very restrictive 50cm or so where exhaust merges to one. Removing this restriction greatly improves mid to top power and deepens exhaust tone. Cost me around $280.
  10. Ray had a moderate 70 ish km engine just a few weeks ago. PM him.
  11. Lot of motoring there for 10k! Love the wheels. Good luck with sale.
  12. Nice car for sure! But mileage on a diesel, maintainance could be costly. How long do these engines last?
  13. I work with the owner of this car at Air NZ engineering. Maintained to perfection!
  14. No issues, a bit fiddley with removal of coil packs and rocker cover etc. The step by step instructions are bang on and easy to follow. 4-5 hours yes. Do your fan belts if dodgey and replace cover gasket. Along with the remap this would be the most satisfying before and after result I have done.
  15. Would test AFR before playing with injectors. May make things worse.
  16. Thanks Steve. Yeah the TU engine was a transition for the E46 shape and to intro the twin vanos concept. When on a cold morning, say 10 deg, car would surge and jolt sometimes stall during warm up, once warm was ok. Have read the Ecu on start up advances inlet cam to assist with more air to heat up cats [emissions]. The physical problem here is the oil bypasssing worn seals does not allow this movement, hence poor running. What is apparent is that vanos is not working as it should even when hot, hence my power gains. This is a fiddley repair but well worth it. There will be thousands of TU engines out there with buggered seals.
  17. Hi Selvan, not to clued on them, but members here will know! Looks a nice car must say. Your not related to Nick are you?
  18. Bump, yeah sorry mistake, was thrown by four cylinder engine claim. Didn't this trans have issues?
  19. Been for sale a long time. Ad is flawed. Car shoud be 5 or 6 speed manual 3.2 lt six cyl. K's are good and looks in good nick. Rare colour. Top $ though. Worth a look.
  20. Even with modest HP, with these quality handleing mods, lower auto diff ratio 3.46 and an extra cog in the middle, must be fun! Screaming out for a SC kit would say!
  21. M52TU engine in your car is a twin vanos unit. If your car is an import will have two into one exhaust. This is restrictive along with exhaust manifolds and intake manifold. Hence your car only makes power to 5.5k. You need to open up intake and exhaust to allow this lovely donk to breathe.
