  1. My first MHD flash was 1+ 8.0 beta, was ok but I had no starting point other than stage 1. Downloaded 8.1 when released, but not happy, was jerky on throttle transitions, up or down. 9.0 as John has stated is a different end result entirely, smooth, with what i would call a part- linear throttle response.
  2. Welcome, nice looking car and a fab colour. Your 730 would feel like a tug boat in a 4m swell compared to your new ride. Enjoy.
  3. My wife has 2008 LCI version, nice to drive, good viz from every angle, for a NA bigish six cyl, is great on gas.
  4. Strange things these options. Brent at BM World maybe able to assist with options, surely you could fit paddles,(if you want) of course. Not sure on steering colume and wiring requirements, but surely options there.
  5. Your saying you have 335i Msport without paddles? Makes a mockery of the word 'sport' in a car to me. How many gears can you lock into without up or downshift with shifter?
  6. You have stage 2 trans flash from memory, you should be using paddles on tight twisting roads. Not tried linear throttle myself.
  7. I'm with Kelvin also, 1+ is around 16lb boost and about 12 at redline, our roads are so rough, lucky these drivelines are strong. Just fitted a pair of Forge diverter valves(used) with green springs, car was slow down low, felt like low boost or a leak, thought obout the shims that this model uses to add a pretension on the boost side of piston and spring. Added a 3mm thick washer to the inside of each piston cup. Wow, what a differance, very fast spool and responce, mainly low and mid range, way better than OEM diverters. New turbos soon, inlets, and oem outlet mod, a custom tickle up on 1+ tune, then that will do.

  9. Not a great deal of protection if any for an off excursion! Not one hay bale, grass not to easy to grow there one would expect.

    I'm similar to John in mods, have MHD 1+ tune, started at 8.0, now at 9.1 also running XHP stg 2 V3. More than happy for a daily, have stage one turbo upgrades ready to go, ( similar in spec to RB One's), as my OEMs are whineing. Will look at a custom map to assist with increased air/fuel flows etc.

  13. What is also very noticable on stripping stock turbos, is the weight of stock cast compressor wheel, my scales not to accurate, but 25g.
  14. I have purchased another set of worn out turbos off same year car to rebuild with new cores added, rattle fix etc, so can swap turbos out basically.
  15. Hi, yes had balance sheet for both units. Just today mounted comp housings to cartridges. Have not done much because of lockdown. Still waiting for inlets,(two months). Should have it sorted in month or so.

    Hi Jared, the top long units are to fit RHD E39 and may also fit E46 52/54 engines. The short units are rear banks only for E39 M52 and E46 M52/54
