  1. You talking a euro plate?? I used double sided moulding tape. No mounts. No holes. Tidy. Or you can buy the proper holders off the likes of Germanplates.com. BMW NZ dealers just drill holes and screw them on if that helps

    E39 M5 Shocks

I would say OEM. Depends on what you are after I suppose but the OEM set up would be a hard one to better. If you like the idea of OEM try SAS for a price on the BOGE Equivalent as they make most of the OEM stuff for BMW. Worth a phone call. http://www.finda.co.nz/business/listing/y2...ernational-ltd/ EDIT: A quick Google tells me OEM are SACHS shocks and a few results say they are better than Koni’s, SAS sell SACHS also.

No one will thank you for not buying it. Hey it has near 100,000km and it a new M-Car, think of it as dodging a bullet.
  4. I will endeavour to come down for a look. If it’s sunny.
  5. Well two LED torches from Supercheap weighs in at $59.90, the tape was $2.00, so that’s $61.90 + Average mark up of 57%.. hmmm can do them for $99.95. offer free installation and if that seems steep I am perfecting the new universal mid mount kit I like to call “Day Rider†at a special price of $49.95.
  6. Yep. You can leave it off altogether if you like, my old E60 didn’t have any garnish at all factory so im thinking it’s an M5 only trim piece. Welcome to the Forum, beautiful car you have there.
  7. Hold on. Yes. Im agreeing with you Simon. At least on an Audi the car makes up for them but when I spotted them on the new Holden Commodore?? WTF What’s next, a KIA Or an E30… OMFG Im working on the kit guys so be patient, so far all I have managed to do was mount it, a tube of electrical tape will be included.
  8. Goes to show what? Those engines made that power for like the 1000RPM of the rev range and it was high up, completely useless.
  9. I don’t think you will find a single part in the M12 that is common to the M10.

Please start a thread with a list to prove it. Was a joke. Maybe just write a list and post it as your signature. Im sure someone got it. If not I apologise and will tone down the sarcasm in future. I would call BMW and just get a refresh on what needs to be done at near 100,000kw and find out what has been done, just so you can account for a possible $10,000 bill hear or a “that’s not covered under warranty†there. Basically get it checked out and be aware of the cost of some heavy wear high cost items like the clutch, if this has not been replaced at near 100,000km you could be in for a shock as they are not covered by a warranty. There is a reason these are dropping in price quicker than the surplus 2010 Bimmersport wall calendars. Actually, just ignore that advice and drive it like you stole it, what do I care!

  13. They are sexy as all hell. Much better on the road then in pictures.
  14. As they are a privet company I would think it would be worth a call to the citizens advice burrow. They can’t send you to Baycorp if the issue is in dispute so write them a letter to start with, ignoring it is the worst thing you can do. Given you don’t like arguing and can’t be arsd do as Glenn sais and just pay it. I ended up in a massive dispute with the Auckland City Council over a fine last year, took 6 months of letters and a court appearance to get off it and I couldn’t counter claim costs. All for a $40 ticket.
  15. I think we should get his address and all go around the day of Auckland meet and demand he stop selling such rubbish… Maybe just call Bull Rush on him.
  16. What has JDM got to do with the Audi R8. Im tempted to hit buy now and request pick up just so I can punch whoever is selling them in the arm.

    I need a GPS

Tom Tom for the above reason, updates are free and it is genuinely fun to use and easy to dock and customise. Mine has Homer Simpson for guidance voice and a real picture of my car as the car on screen, is super easy to use and has built in Hands Free. Its the Mac/I-Pod of Nav.
  18. I was going to hit buy now but then noticed it had been converted to RHD. Im just such a purist Beautiful car, will be buying a Big Wednesday ticket this week, will swap him the Audi R8.
  19. Love the user name Dave Is my Milltek on its way??
  20. Keen on a cruise?? Any excuse for a backroad blat. Im doing Targa Rotorua next month, much safer and more fun as the roads are closed.
  21. Best make a stencil and paint them on.
  22. Do them like the Tii Concept please. It has the same brakes as your car. Good call painting them, they look poo’s and wee’s unpainted when they go corroded. Dupli Colour do a paint kit that comes in a few different colours, this kit can be purchased from Repco or Supercheap. It comes with all you need bar a hard wire brush. I would recommend this as the best way to do it if you don’t want to remove your callipers as you simply paint it on with a brush. Use two coats per calliper, keep them clean and re do them in a few months.
  23. Easiest ad most effective way to fix it is to put the standard lights back into the car, maybe some Philips Blue Vision, that way you will have better light and won’t be annoying other road users anymore and the message will go away, you will look less try hard also.
