Bosch Auto Electrical in Papakura can fit a MAP-ECU which is essentially a piggy back that deletes the ultra restrictive AFM and replaces it with a MAP sensor and a custom tune on a rolliing road.. Cost is about $1,500 and includes before and after dyno sheets and a detailed run down as to what they have done. They will also retune your car down the track at a reasonable cost if you decide to do any other mods. I have seen some great results with one of these. There is a member on here MrE34 that has one fitted to his 535is and it yielded great results. Would find it but the search feature is ball sacks. I want one fitted!

Hard to tell from the add, I would be inspecting both. No vote for me. The 2.7 does look as though it has been looked after though, just check for rust.

State valued mine at 8,000 ater initially insuring it for 10,500 and Turners say the 320i is worth 2,500-3,000.

Just park it at the Papakura bus station overnight.. will be covered in scribble by the morning. I would have drawn it on a stencil and converted it to vinyl, that way it would sit nicer and be removable if needed.

Would be good for out of town work like Rural.. that thing would go anywhere and get patients to the hospital fast! Bet the Ambo drivers would be calling short straws on this one.

These cars are very popular in England and Germany, they do everything well and have lots of kit you would only get on a car costing twice as much, find me a premium euro of the same year with all those features for 14k? It’s not an exciting drive but it’s not meant to be. And I will add it goes like hell, easily leaves a 328i behind. I can have it cleaned and ready for you tomorrow if you need it Brian.

Buy on the cheap, get six months out of them without spending a cent and then list it for more than you paid for it initially, have worked the last few times and will work on this next car. Have figured it’s a good way to find what you really want and a good way not to lose money on cars. Wouldn’t buy a brand new car ever again and won’t modify a new car again. Anyways this is a good honest car, has a few scrapes here and there but is overall tidy. Few features worth mentioning. Front/side/Curtain Airbags Heated leather seats Trip Computer Dual Zone Air Conditioning 17†wheels Full body kit Black accent lights (exclusive to the CDXi) Grunty 320NM/155kw V6 Sport (lol) tuned suspension (sits 15mm lower than a poverty pack) Massive boot with fold down seats. From all the views I can see you all want it and there’s going to be a bidding war on our hands so for who that miss out I apologise in advance. Will get some pictures soon so please be patient.
