If I had a baby id want it to travel in a safe car. Just throwing it out there, could be a good excuse to keep it, E34’s are quite safe for their age/value. Had a laugh at a mate the other day when he proclaimed his new child seat was five star safety approved. I said well done but your car wouldn’t even score one star in a safety test so your screwed either way. Like wearing a condom and screwing blender. .

They are just a Top hat made of urethane with slide adjustment for caster and camber. Don’t have a link. $220+GST each.

Are these any good for road use and are they easy enough to keep aligned? Im contemplating some as they are only $20 more than BMW Genuine parts. Anyone run these on their road cars?

It’s not bad at all is it! Defiantly my fave at the moment, might just be the novelty factor!

Bang for your buck. We paid 40k for our Astra SRI-T, it had more kit than a premium brand euro costing twice as much. Our Holden’s have been great, the dealers on the other hand have been muppets, I swear ten minutes after handing over the money for our new car they had completely forgotten who we were and treated us like crap. Every time we claimed something under the new car warranty they would turn it into an ordeal. Example. I thought I would claim on a small imperfection on our gear knob, thought it would be as simple as dropping in and getting them to look at my knob, note the imperfection on my knob and order me a new one. But no, we had to drop the car in have them asses the knob for a day at our inconvenience, then we had to wait 6 weeks for a new one, when it arrived they had made a mistake and ordered the whole gear selector assembly so we had to book it in for a further two day’s to have fitted. So it took them a total of 45 days to change a gear knob!

Front and rear are the same. A genuine kit will be a rubbery type plastic that has flex, it will be quite heavy. This is preferable as it is less prone to damage and is easily repaired plus it will look a lot better as it was made by BMW. Check it comes with all the tow hook covers and associated clips.

That E46 took a fair hammering! Good to know my mum is driving a safe old car. Im sure your brother is looking at it as a chance to upgrade to a V8 powered Holden now anyways, always look on the bright side eh. Can he take the goodies off..Monaroo tail lights, sounds etc.

Welcome to Bimmersport Its easy to fix the roof itself, its just a pain taking it out and putting it back in, I just redid mine with black fabric and some grunty spray adhesive, looks mintish. Ditch the Jap plate holder, the cops should be pulling people over for them rather than German plates

Will let it run for a few more days and see if we get ten, he wont have the clears for a few weeks anyhow. Thanks guys.

Yep, they are the same. Hard to decide, clear or smoked. 3 in so far!

I accounted for that when lowering mine and went with two different pairs of springs, higher in the back. Im against compressed springs and defiantly wouldn’t compress some lovely H&R’s.
-
Spot on. According to BMW NZ, only 325i’s are supposed to have the battery in back, all other models inclu 320i will have them in the front. The reason for this is better weight distribution on the 325i.

I’d rather have three nice BMW’s that I can drive, than a paddock of rubbish. That Black 7 series looks good.

"oh you know he dead" But its not even that bad, the damage is more dramatic/superficial, so cool how new cars absorb energy and disintegrate around the safety shell. The cabin is 100% in tact. I have rolled a car six times (two front over end) and it wasn’t the seat belt that saved me it was the head rest. Safe to say I always wear one now though, you only get away with that sh*t once. A picture of the old car I was in makes that look "mint as bro" Still, I Bet he was thanking Merry Jane after it.

Or eating a cream egg. He must have been going flat out As for the air bags, maybe they weren’t wearing seat belts, not really enforced over there.

Would your product protect against stone chips? I have recently had a couple of cars re-sprayed and am looking to protect the front bumpers and bonnets. Traditionally I have layered wax on the bumpers as a protection. Thanks Graham
