  1. Google ZR1. Will eat a 599. Fiat are still broke.

    M325i vs SR20DET.

Nice. Just a thought but you might not need rear camber correction if it’s not too low. If you are going 16x9 surley a bit of camber is good. KSMYRS’s car was fricken low.
  3. Preferred the first incarnation, the Top secret GT300 rep. Ran a 3SGTE! The V12 is totally bad ass though. Any good with a welder? This is the white one. He did a static burn out on on the southern motorway got in trubs.

Nice work thus far Incary, she’s coming along bloody nicely. I have fitted Whitline sway bars to two cars I have owned and they were fantastic, both were FWD and aided turn in dramatically. How low are you going? I can recommend against too low if you like back roads, you can dial back the camber all you like but a -40mm will still handle like a steaming pile of poo on anything other than smooth bitumen. My old girl is lowered 30mm and is almost too low for my driving.
  5. Nice work Ingus, fantastic looking/sounding car.

    Smily's anyone?

What’s the deal with the smile’s?? Are they year specific? I have noticed very few have them. Sorry about the Noob question
  7. BMW performance parts are available, its mostly aesthetic stuff though. His car is Re-Map..able. http://chiptuning.co.nz/cars-bmw.html
  8. Yep, a manual conversion, chip, exhaust system and intake would have it moving along quite nicely. They did a 2.5 model TI didn’t they?
  9. You could. Air Intake (Simota) $500. 0-1kw Custom Exhaust system with sports cat $750-1200. 3-7kw Chip $1100-1500 5-15kw Engine/Gearbox swaps $10,000-15,000 up to 100kw gain. Of course these are all guestimates. Turbo it!!
  10. That is a very nice car, love everything about it…except the six, you just can’t beat the sound of a eight-pac.
  11. True, hardly ground breaking. There is a crazy Dutch company (Vanderbrink?) that build them. They are imported into NZ and are very expensive.

Nice group of cars. That Dakar E36 looks nice indeed!
  13. But Cadillac already has a large car. The VE could defiantly be labelled as a cut price five series. On the upside, at least they had the opportunity to build the VE in the first place, without GM America’s input Commodores would most likely still be VT based. I think we will be offered Commodores built on the VE until they become extinct in the next ten years.

    Top 5 cars

McLaren F1-LM. It’s a McLaren F1, it does everything well and is IMHO still the greatest Supercar of all time… oh and its Powered by Siamese twin BMW M3 engines. E30 M3 Touring car Remembers seeing these bounce around Wellington as a kid and the olds had a E30 so naturally this car was my hero TTE Celica ST185 WRC in Castrol livery with no restrictor and Road/Rally option. Not sure why I like the Celica, like the M3 it has pumped guards, was very successful in its sport and just looked awesome, would have one in my garage for an occasional back road gravel blat. They are also very reliable, I would have chosen a Group B car but it would break every five minuites and parts would be imposable to find where as TTE still have parts for the Group-A Celica. .. I hate all other Celica’s Aston Martin DBS Its sexy as f**k and would eat the miles, gotta have a grant tourer in your garage. Oh and James Bond has one and James bond is my Hero. 69' Yenko 427 Camaro Just plain Badass, the car you would take out when you are felling less than manly and required a bit of attention to boost the old self esteem. It has a BIG BLOCK 427ci motor and next to no handling or stopping ability, now that’s gotta be entertaining. I’d take a Evo-9 over the 8-MR, the MR had one of the lagiest power delivery’s I have ever experienced, I almost had to change to first gear to keep it on the boil some corners.. maybe a EVO-8 MR with the MIVEC 9 engine.
  17. -When you find it hard to relate to your non Bimmersport buddies because they simply can’t fathom the BMW awesomeness. -When you know every item remotely interesting (sometimes not) BMW related that is listed on Trade me -When you go to check your emails but log onto Bimmersport without engaging your brain, start reading unread topics and then completely forget why you were on your computer to start with. -When you end up at work at 10pm because you spent too much time on Bimmersport during the day and turned a 2h job into a 5 hour job.
  18. That’s a good one. Actually, that would be the most embarrassing thing I have done to look cool.
  19. I dont get yours? I was 15 trying to look cool and beached my car on a tree trunk in front of a bunch of cool people when driving through a park.. Was rather embarrassing. Don’t try and look cool anymore.
  20. So cool, best of both worlds. These cars handel well.
  21. Welcome to Bimmersport, nice handle, my uncle called my car “black mans wily†always laugh.
  22. Ever looked for it on a Tuesday night at your local supermarket?? Its always sold out. Gotta love “public welfare†poor buggers, must be hard getting paid to get pissed every day. Cast wine bags make awesome noises when over inflated and run over with a car. TBH I’ll drink anything that’s reasonably premium and on sale. Beer is beer to me, I know what to avoid through trial end eror but all in all there are pleanty of goodies out there! Have a fully stocked bar if I want a tasty drink.
  23. There is no photo. I assumed everyone knew what adjustable urethane top mounts looked like. Am simply asking if anyone has had any experience with them and would they recommend them on a road car.
