Forum working on mobile devices but not laptop?

No one likes Bimmersport going down on them -
There goes my spare time this weekend. I actually have a few of these, have original BMW ones from the 80's and 90's, must dig them out!

220kw, amazing power! What, in 1990?

Every time I see this type of video I think about selling my race car and buying an M3, would love one one day but think by the time I can justify one they will be over 100k.

Working for me now, was actually paranoid as when I logged in there posts made, thought I had been banned for driving a french car. Was a stressful week, two out of the three forums I look at had died! Had to do some work and sh*t, even unloaded the dishwasher. -
Ready for Targa in October I reckon Steve, I hear your cuz Adrian from Oz is coming over to help out, he has the same sickness as I when it comes to cars. When you see it you will freak. Eminem's ghost is lurking.

Bro, $300.00 will go a long way in Papatoetoe, the coke may not be quality and the hooker may not be a female but you will definitely have an interesting night. Keen as on that jumper.

Have heard that they are still doing silly stuff, like holding launches for "RS" models at race tracks only to have the car's transmission overheat after three laps.. its meant to be the hard core race model?? Best I have seen was a video of the at the time Jaguar F1 driver trying to show off the 400BHP S-Type but eneded up rolling it with one of Autocars top journalists in the car! Check it out! http://jalopnik.com/watch-an-f1-driver-cra...t-ins-510321386

Don't get me started on fog lights front or rear and homo's who drive with them on all the time. Stop it. It does not look cool you look like a douchebag and you are anoying everyone else on the road, you are very clever for finding the switch but it has not been a good look since 1994 and even you know it does nothing for visibility.

Have just bought one of these and have spent a bit of time removing rust and prepping for a full respray. Check for rust rust at the bottom of the front doors and around mirrors, rust at sills, around windows and where the air intake feed is, also found some on the rear door gutter. Its a shame they rust because mechanically they are bulletproof! Mine is a 2.8D 4WD Manual LWB Custom with the rear seats removed, looking for a replacement rear seat.. have just purchased two bull bars for it, if you are up this way you can have one of them if you want

True. Stick with OEM paper if you can. Personally I would spend the saved money on a nice jumper or cardigan... or some car cleaning products, a clean car or a nice jumper is more impressive than a induction roar on a 320i.

11 pages already! By my estimation you will have 128 pages by years end! Gutted I missed seeing this beast on the weekend.

What makes you say that andy? I know a few Jag owners and I would collectively call them hot rodders, they all drive quite fast, they do handel surprisingly well also! You will always have the buyers who buy them because they are British and hate anything from the Nazi's or Nipps!

The new VF Sport waggon addresses most of these problems, I think it may be a fair comparison with this XF, I bet the motoring mags do a direct comparison even. Fully loaded VF Claise V8 out specks the Jag in every way and will cost half the price. I am no Holden fan but have to admit the new VF is a fantastic value car, if they did a diesel I would even consider one!
-
Oh it stands out, its a great looking car in the flesh, best looking waggon I have seen since the old Alfa 159 TI! The new Mazda 6 looks fantastic too though, possibly the best looking waggon in its size, and it stands out now but we know 34,070 sales reps will be driving them like tossers by the end of the year so they will fly incognito just like every other Mazda 6.. may as well be a Hiace. XF-RS, now thats a nice thought.

Looks like a Commodore in the sense that it looks really nice?? They should make it look really f**ked instead, would be a bold and individual statement, has really worked for BMW. Bitch pleas. Pricing looks O.K on this but feel its a bit late to the game, the XF is getting on in the years now and if I was dropping that sort of money on a car I would want something a bit fresher, the new E-Class is out soon and the current 5-Series is a generation ahead of this, even if these are 3-Series money in NZ.
-
Seems like a good car for the money. Have you thought about getting rid of all the fail tint and black sh*t that someone has stuck all over it and taking some nice photo's? Fitting OEM BMW badges would be a start. Good luck with the sale.

Pioneer Auto Parts in Penrose will be able to tell you who sells the VHT high temp primer near you, Repco will get it in if you request it. I use their extractor paint to prime whatever I am doing.

Because its a 18+ year old car and 18 years ago it was actually quite nice, people were mad for wood, they put it in everything! The wood was on near all cars, even non SE models, I was a kid but I remember when they were new, the old man had one and the interior was amazing, hell soft plastics were amazing 15 years ago let alone a near useless screen and stupidly placed cup holders. I'm sure you remember the 90's though, there was a lot worse than wood going on ins terms of styling. This was an era when other brands were offering this, so the E39 was out of this world!

Welcome, i'm sure we can point you in the direction to restore her to her original glory.

IMHO a tidy Fiji Green E36 318is is worth 7.5-10k at the moment. This model is sort after, maybe not as much as the E30 318is but they still have fans.
-
Really, I thought they were still the most reliable brand, or is that a completely different company, Lexus I think they are called. Agree the Hilux is gutless and rather average to drive, to be fair overall its out dated compared to the new Ford. Have multiple mates with new gen Hilux and Hiace and none have had any problems, some tow race cars and other work the land and treat them like sh*t on farms.
-
Because they don't f**k out after three years like BMW's do. People still pay 40k for a 10 year old LC with 200,000km that runs like clockwork.

So it was in its habitat Nath I have no opinion on it, just thought I would share, I know there a few X5 fans on here. Personally I would buy a Ford Raptor!
