Welcome to bimmersport, great car, special colour.

Ya, I have always said the current one series is cool back its headlamps and grill, throw this front on it = saved. Have been meaning to take the 135i for a test drive bit have not made it into a dealership, they are meant to be fantastic though, anyone driven one?
-
Congratulations, glad to see this car had been saved and has gone to someone who will restore it to its former glory, I for one love that interior. Have fun, do a skid.

I put the 2.5 in and the extractors, intake etc.. Also did the shocks.. that car owed me 10k in bits and bobs by the time I sold it and since then has got attention from a few other BS members, its a great car. When I had it I put Vogtland springs in and we ran a E36 rear sprig to compensate for the extra weight, perhaps look at fitting the E36 rear springs?? I am jealous, wish I had never sold that car.. or the M325i. Need another E30 in my life!

Well done, you cant go wrong with a 540i, love the V8. Enjoy!

That looks like my old car.. that car had such a nice shine to it, new wheels look good, stance looks like it has been reversed. Enjoy.

Now this is tempting, I was racing against Mike on the weekend and can tell you both he and tis car is very very fast, would eat a M3 or similar. Great price too http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/specialist...n-593149052.htm For anyone looking to step it up and come and do Targa this car would be perfect and very competitive out of the box, parts would be cheap and readily available..

Its unfortunate we wont see that nice low slung styling like on older cars again, BMW have had to raise the center line to meet safety and platform standards so I guess its a compromise between styling, packaging and safety. Would be great to see BMW do a proper stand alone sports car like the Subota 86, now that would be awesome, thins thing squashed to 86 proportions!

What do you connoisseurs think of this? http://www.2addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=841137

Lol, well I brought that new, think of my RS as nice modern property in East Auckland, it does everything you want and more, has all the same amenities, is safe, stylish and actually out performs other properties costing twice as much in Remuera... the new BMW is the house in Remuera. For the record I own my large residential property in Papakura and next year plan to buy some land in the country and build, will keep the Property in Papakura as it will earn me nearly $1000 a week in total rent ability. I would not move out of South Auckland and if I was given a nice house in Remuera I would sell
-
Yep, only we all bitch about the price of petrol but its only the suckers renting who bitch about the price of housing.. I don't like the price of new BMW's, only because I cant afford one
-
Try that in NZ... only two guys in E39's turn up and neither wants to chip in for the paint balls
-
Can it do a skid?

Its a proven conversion on both E30's and E36 compacts. You can get them to 190kw relatively stock standard and work them to 300kw with some forged internals and a bigger turbo, there are plenty of parts for them and a lot of local tuners no how to tune them safely with good results. I like the idea of a LS swap though, they are not cheap for a powerful one but would make for a wicked car!

Nissan SR20DET + Forged + Bigger Turbo. Very good combo for the chassis.

Agreed, offer a discount, even if you offload the lot at cost, apologize profusely and finish the job, keep em happy, even if you make nothing you will cover the hardware costs, better than being lumped with the bill, a bad rep or legal fee's. Just write it off and think it only happens once in a blue moon, you never know, they may recommend you or come back and order in future. That's what I would do, in my 10 years of business I have only had one invoice I could not reach a positive ending on, but they were literally crazy, I learned from that that even if the customer is completely mental and wrong its not worth arguing as they can do more damage than its worth, especially with social media etc.

I have the original weekend "Herald" road test clipping on this model when it first come into the NZ market, is quite a good read. Nice car.

They rewarded him with letting him design the Z3 Coupe... he was like "where did I put mu gas ax and welder" Jokes. Love the bit about the gap in the back being big enough to fit a case of beer through. Makes me want a 318i Touring in Red.
-
So many experts. IMHO M325i's are worth good money and I bet this car sells fast. End of the day, the M325i Tech II is dream car for a lot of cashed up cats and they will not settle for anything else.

BMW have released an official pick of the 4 Series. Its f**king sexy. I am waiting for the 10 series, its based on the 9 series but is more a crossover coupe type convertible.
-
In that case buy the E46 M3, the Z is still to effeminate for my liking, I do think the interior is nicer and t is newer, but the E46 M3 is way cooler and has balls. In saying that look at the Z3-M Coupe VS the E36 M3 for an idea of how the veiw point may chance over time, I think $$ of $$ I would take a Z3 M-Coupe/Roadster over a E36 M3.

We did one a few years back with a euro car club, its great fun, even had a couple of E30's from bimmersport on the stand. The hardest thing is getting a good group of enthusiastic people who are mature enough to commit the time to it and contribute to planning a theme and also contributing to the costs, you need to give up a bit of time to organize it properly and build a good stand, we had some flanners made up and a few other props. Planning 8 months out would actually be a good idea, as would starting to get some $$ together to make it awesome, maybe Bimmersport could contribute??
