A waste would be not to drive one of these flat out! Lets hope they were at least having fun before it happened. It says one owner, wonder if it was that owner who stacked it. Would make for a mean race car project, sell off the wanky seats and buy a cheap 318i shell. Bobs your uncle.

X2. Would not be happy if my place was raided, my assets frozen and my business closed down before I had my say and chance to defend myself in a court of law, seems innocent util proven guilty did not apply here, even when he does get off free they have destroyed his lively-hood.

Cherry Tomatoes would roll off though?

Sub in box, I'm not one to try and flog sh*t on here but this sub is choice and I had a custom box made and carpeted for a E30 touring so it could be of interest. Cant see myself in a car that I will be "ICEing" in the near future so must go, they cost over $1000.00 new and f**king crank, will blow most dual 12" setups away when amped properly. Sub in the box $400.00 http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=461111001 Have this very nice Alpine deck for sale also. $350.00 http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=461109321 Thanks. PS I need cash and need space so make me an offer if you like, feel free to let other people know, apparently those Alpine head units are really good, sounded good to me but I am no sound professional. Mt Wellington is a bitch to get to from anywhere, it just bottle necks up massively 7 days a week, I worked in Mt Wellington/Ellerslie for quite a few years and it could take 30-40 mins to get onto the motorway and then the same time again to get back to Papakura where I live.. I was single and didn't mind it so much but that could be 10-20 hours family time a week sitting in traffic if you were to travel there from anywhere further than 10km. How about in Mt Wellington, there is a lot of development going on there behind Mt Wellington in the College road area. You wont get much of a back yard but you will be close to some great retail and supermarkets and work and it is rather central to everything. There are some nice parks around, point England is awesome, it is a quick drive down to beach etc. I have no kids and know nothing about them or schools or anything at all, I would not know what family's do but I know I would rather my kids grow up a bit further north or south, out in the burbs closer to the fringe, I am looking at Pukekohe or further for our family house in a few years. Ranting. Meh.

My missus brought Marmite once, was never touched and thrown out eventually. Agree Promite is the best, I think it has 18x the sugar of the others so that's probably why. Peanut butter is what you want.

Yea, sick of seeing stock Lamborghini Murcielago's all over the show. I would fit non-Lambo doors to it.

I prefer the sound of the SLS GT3 myself, love that car. Never mind the V8 supercars, the GT3 class is where its at and if you want to see them you can go to the Australian GP or head to the Bathurst 12 hour, every year more and more GT3 cars are heading to it, I watched it on a live stream the other week and it was fantastic, so many different manufacturers.

I hear they play engine noises through the stereo.

Who "supervises" their car when its being worked on?

I have been on the opposite side of the coin when muppets have tightened my wheel nuts so tight I could not get them off. I don't worry about leaving my cars with people, they cant drive my car as hard as I do and if they break something I hold them accountable. -
Welcome. Have had a similar experience in my stock standard hatchback, the EVO-X looks to be quite a soft POS in reality. There is something quite satisfying about schooling someone in a new EVO on the track in a car that they would not expect to be fast at all, even up the straights the EVO was lagging.

I would think the CSL will drop way down in value and then creep up like the good E30 M3's have, the CSL is a greatest M car of the last decade and looking at where BMW are going with cars I think probably be the last hard core M car as we know it. I predict In a decade a nice CSL will still be selling for over 60k. My thoughts anyway. For how many 1M's there are in NZ I see a sh*t load of them around Auckland, spotted two just yesterday. Can confirm they look good in Black too.

There you go, buy the M5 remove the engine and put it in a CSL. Winning.

Its a Drivers Car. If you want collect something buy some baseball cards.

Well with Motorcorp (Jag) leading, all it would take Audi to do the same or even drop its pricing 10% and things would get interesting. Local importers try and say its because of our standard "options" but its not hard to find out what things cost in Europe with the online calculators on their web sites. Whats more interesting to learn is that often these "options" are more than often thrown in on UK vehicles anyway, along with 2% interest finance or lease deals and your choice of colours delivered in a month not six months. We really do get shafted. Have been shopping for a new car this last couple of months and its amazing what features you get in a non premium car like a Ford Focus for under 50k, features you would not get on a Audi costing twice as much in our market.

Same Hayes any day. Just saying. Would pay ridiculousness asking price, like if I spotted a rare car I wanted, would pay way to much for it.
-
This bugs me too, mainly because I cant afford a decent model new BMW in NZ but could if I was living in Europe/America. I see Jaguar have knocked 20+% off all models to better align pricing with Europe, looking at the amount of parallel imported Jags and independent service agents about I guess they had too. How long before other "Premium" brands do the same? I remember reading the BMW have no plans to lower costs to match other markets. As a comparison, the Jaguar XF 3.0 Turbo Diesel is $50,000 cheaper than the equivalent BMW 5 Series 3.0 Diesel yet cost the same in Europe.

Nor do I. I remember Targa ran plastic barriers on the prolog at Hampton a few years back and had they been concrete a few cars would not have made the first stage. That guy was a clown for entering that car though, too much all dollars no cents, I mean he was competing with Honda Civics and Toyota Corolla's FFS, what was he trying to do other than wreck a car designed as a GT.

Yep. Its the same old same old. I could buy * insert old piece of sh*t* and would be heaps better/faster/meaner bro, I know because I did a comparison in my head as I haven't actually driven either nor can I afford either. I spotted one in that orange with black wheels last dusk with its magic demon eyes glowing looking all menacing I swear even though it was only dawdling through Mt Eden in my eyes I could see it full opposite lock with smoke barreling off the rear tyres. Its a mean machine. Best BMW in years. Do want. Yes please.

Haha, the Corvette would have a roll cage, race seats etc if it were mine! But yes, Fanga is nice, you can even order matching luggage for those long weekends away in the south of France /Huntly!

Like any M Engine. These will be worth a mint in parts for race car projects. Comparable to a Ferrari? I don't think so. Good Ferrari's don't weight two ton, I agree both would be intimidating to drive fast on a Kiwi back road though. I have spoken with few M5 owners and they have told me what it costs to run them so I am under no illusions, they drive theirs properly though and that's what I am getting at, its very well to own one nana it around and say they are not to bad to maintain but you don't buy a M5 to nana around you but a 550i.

I see where you are coming from Ari Gold, should have been clearer. Because this is not a Supercar, its a Sports GT and is compromised, the McLaren held such a high bench mark for years and is today still unbelievably fast, its amazing to me at least that through modern gearboxes and launch control systems GT's are going this fast. In saying that, a good old manual gear boxed Corvette ZR1 that costs 100k US is near as fast also so maybe its not so amazing anymore.
-
Very cool. Faster to 200kph then a Mclaren F1, that's no mean feat, especially considering this is their Sports GT. Cant wait to see the new Enzo though, that's meant to have more power and weigh 1000kg, bye bye yucky Veyron.

Anything that is too expensive is something I can’t afford.

Soon enough? There is a massive market for used parts for the E60 M5 as they are falling apart, problem is like most BMWs they all fall apart in the same places meaning you need to buy new parts and that's where the E60 M5 will essentially write itself off. Ask Glenn how many times you can use the launch control before it needs its clutches done and then ask how much it costs to do them. The E39 M5 is a hamster on a wheel in comparison and a much more attractive everyday classic performance car. The E60 is an intimidating car with intimidating repair costs and maintenance to match, it also drinks like a Bimmersport member on a Saturday night in Taupo on a track weekend meaning you essentially have a performance car that you cant afford to drive it fast.
