haha E30 M3's are rare too even though there are always more E30 M3's than M325i's available. Have been looking at 540i Tourings for a while. I think that blue one is a good price, the guy selling it seems honest enough but it has no sevice documentation, the green one has a good service history and has in the last few months had a $4000 service with all faults addressed.. the Silver one is just stupid over priced, it has however had the two concerning common faults rectified with its gearbox rebuilt and its rear suspension overhauled. Not a fan of the E39 Touring. It is a good price though.

All the e34's have the dual roof... or do you mean the condensation?
-
Rare indeed. lol at the price of the silver one. tempted on that blue one in wellywood.

The guy selling the car would not give a sh*t, he knows its a good car for the money.

Doing a Scandinavian flick into a corner sideways and powering out at the apex is a bit of fun in the Renault as is lift off oversteer at 180kph, it requires a bit of madness but is still fun, I had a guy at a trackday come up to me and say he didnt know these were rwd after following me in the wet for a couple of laps. Agree you still can’t beat that rwd powerslide sensation when you want to muck around, it’s not fast but it is fun! My ultimate rally car would be RWD version of what I have, its a shame it doesn't exist.

Defiantly not. My car is jacked up and mine is average at best. I think it is an age thing though, as I have got older my cars have got higher and higher..

Very nice. Very expensive though.

Yay Brook from Hamilton! Looking good man, must make a few, well most people go WTF.

I think he has been to his local sex shop and picked up the wrong blue pills..

From my recent research into personal GPS units it does look like Garman is the way to go, they have been in the business longer than the alternative’s.. they do have a silly massive range though so make sure you have a good look at the brochure. I am looking for a tracking device for running, they cater for this also, its all bloody expensive though!

Did you rebuild or replace? Any idea's on cost would be great. Its the one thing putting the shits up me about the 540i.

Looks good. http://www.mightyape.co.nz/product/PS3/Nee...e-Run/10514122/

Im looking at a E34 540i, have driven it and its all good bar a sticky auto, seems hesitant to change into a higher gear, not ideal in a gas guzzler, not sure if this is the norm but I am factoring it in to the price. My question is how much should I factor in to replace/rebuild the transmission when it dies? Thanks A mechanical warranty will run me $1,500.

Sorry Heath, not interested in a ticket but can offer your team a discount on Apparel.

Dude I will struggle to get money together for this! Would think this car is 10k at least, I would pay 15k for it.

Think we may be up against some stiff competition Tristan, there is a lot of interest in this car.
-
Its a very nice car. I had a look last Friday and would very much like to buy it. But if the likes of Tristan bidding I think I may be out of my depth..

Heaps of sh*t ones out South.. spotted a car load of Heke family impersonators driving a rare non indicator, WOF or REG spec model just today, they must have been dignitaries or something because road rules didn’t seem to apply to them at all, was mean how they didn't even stop for red lights or stop signs. Spotted a E36 320i with a big exhaust and no ride height trying to overtake on a passing lane yesterday holding up three cars that actually had the power to do so. Cheers for that.

It used to plough under steer and body roll to the point the massive 185’s would rub on the guards so I fitted some beefy springs to the front (now lowered just stiffer) and a thicker swaybar at the back and has good shocks all round. It s a lot more neutral when pushing it now, it moves along nicely on a back road believe it or not, has embarrassed a few people. It’s no racer but is not stupidly slow, easy to live with 800kg/55kw, great for around town. It’s not mint by any means, has a few shades of white on it.

The Corolla is not nice, its an appliance on wheels, but thanks for the plug anyways! I would still be looking at an E30

Selling my old Corolla if anyone is looking for a cheap run around, I have had it long enough and would like to buy something a little more respectable with four doors as a daily drive car. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=378557171 It doesn’t look flash but is mechanically sound, starts on half a turn and idles well, pulls quite enthusiastically for a 1.3 also. Cheers.

Good stuff. Take it for a test cruise down the main street with this cranking. I would.
