  1. Thoughts going out to the CHCH Bimmerspoters and those who have family there. Hope your wife gets home safe and sound Tony. Best wishes to you and your family. Dark dark day in NZ history.
  2. Thanks, now that is helpful. Might take it to wash world and blast the roof with a high pressure water blaster. Would it be obvious if the self levelling was removed and what is the best way to test it works? Load a trailer on the back?
  3. Imported Grey. Just doesn't do it for me.
  4. Please PM with dogdy info Brunch.
  5. Might be a E34 owner subject to inspection. Have missed my Touring since I sold it and have been waiting for something to pop up as a worthy replacement. Anyone know this car? Anyone have some form of decent OEM E34 wheels that might suite? The ones on it are as appropriate as my nana rocking an I-Phone. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=356427461 Also. Can anyone lend me 10k?

    batercard

Thanks for the input guys, have had the same story from anyone I know who has been involved. Will mull its over some more but at $950 just to join its not becoming any more appealing.

    batercard

A big customer of mine uses bartercard and I am thinking about becoming a member. Have many of you used/use batercard and how have you found it. Cheers
  8. Where are you from Tony. Maybe we can recommend a good shop. The guy I use in Papakura is very good at getting the best sound out of V8's, its all he does.
  9. Someone stole my hoes. I now have a padlock on my gate. Who steals a man hoes, honestly?
  10. Awesome car, would take a bit of talent to drive one to the MAX. there was a Caterham R500 on Targa Tour with us one day and it was seriously quick on a flat straight surface, looked like a nightmare on anything remotely bumpy (90% of NZ roads) though. Unrelated unrelated but this video was apparently related when I watched the YouTube link? Luda. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GD8AFbD2mmE...feature=related
  11. Blast it all Last time I take advice from a guy working at Repco
  12. Have often wondered this. I have only ever heard one V8 BMW that sounded great so I stalked the guy and he told me he had been through two systems to get the sound write. He didn’t tell me much but said they made the two pipes (from each side) feed into each other in the middle and then feed out into two again. He said the double Honda sound is caused because of a separate exhaust for each 4 cylinder bank. Made sense to me.
  13. OT: Are you serious Cam? I was told that stuff is great so I tracked some down and tried it out on my M20 and old Toyota 2E. Made no difference whatsoever to both cars. $70 down the drain. I could care less about a crappy old shitsubishi.
  14. Selling a few bits and pieces to help fund my horrid Targa habit, its costing me more than my other habit, Hookers and Cocaine. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=355692449 Check my other listings. At $1 the Holden hubcaps didn't sell
  15. +1 more. I can’t stand, no I actually detest people who think they can sit it the passing lane and dictate the speed. I have my cruise control set to 110kph on the motorway or state highway (105kph on the GPS) and have to spend 60% of every motorway journey on the far left lane, it’s actually faster.
  16. Thats a Vauxhall Chavlier. Chav = Fully Proper fast hatch that. The Clio V6 is cool. I'm just a fan of brand new, latest and greatest. The new RSM is the latest and the greatest and would embarrass most fancy German cars costing three times as much on any Kiwi back road.
  17. Awesome. Cheers for that. The winning Diet Coke cars were winners in the mid nineties.
  18. What would that say about NZ? Party hard!
  19. Haha nice one. Or a diesel, you see, that’s how they justified it over the trusted Australians. It’s a shame they can’t use a Holden Caprice (HSV Grange ) running on locally sourced LPG, that way they will be supporting NZ and the Australians who spend a lot of money in NZ every year.
  20. Or a Lexus. That guy is such a Cocklozenge.

    Anyone got any jokes?

YOU'VE GOT TO LOVE THIS FARMER'S OUTLOOK & COMMON SENSE APPROACH TO LIFE ......... While suturing up a cut on the hand of a 75 year old farmer, whose hand had been caught in the gate while working his cattle, the doctor struck up a conversation with the old man. Eventually the topic got around to Hone Hawariwa and how he got to be an MP. The old farmer said, "Well, ya know, Hone is just a Post Tortoise." Now not being familiar with the term, the doctor asked, What's a "Post Tortoise?" The old farmer said, "When you're driving down a country road and you come across a fence post with a Tortoise balanced on top, that's a post Tortoise." The old farmer saw the puzzled look on the doctor's face so he continued to explain. "You know he didn't get up there by himself, he doesn't belong up there, he doesn't know what to do while he's up there, he sure as hell isn't goin' anywhere, and you just wonder what kind of dumb bastard put him there in the first place."
  22. I thought dole grew pineapples. The irony is that a lot of the scum that sticks around work and income in my town drive BMW’s too. I don’t give a f**k if you were unemployed and required assistant from the government but thanks for sharing. Oh and I don’t even own a BMW, I have a 1.3 Corolla, the people at the dole office mostly have better cars than me I have a good feeling about this thread, politics always gets people fired up.
  23. My thoughts exactly Brain, they will be getting a sweet lease deal from BMW. It’s just media hype, the breakfast show on TV is really good at it, every day they fill your average Kiwi’s head with what they want you to believe. Makes for great conversation though. It is indeed worrying.
  24. I don’t know if this is general discussion but it does involve BMW’s, 34 of them. http://www.nzherald.co.nz/politics/news/ar...jectid=10706548 Would liked to be the broker on that sale. It must be the right wing and BMW fan in me but I can’t see how this is a bad thing at all. Go the Government, im happier seeing tax money being spent on BMW’s than on doll bludgers and slutty mums. Oh and if you want a 2009 Silver 730dL there will be a whole heap for sale soon.
