  1. Oi, ya cheeky prick, that's you off the invite list for next year then!
  2. It depends on what level of UK society you are talking about, for the vast masses the foil disposable barbie is the only version. The best (and true) story about these is the older lady that took one back to Tesco for a refund, and when they asked why she wanted a refund, the lady said it was because it didn't come with the sausages and burgers shown in the picture on the outside ! After explaining that the picture was just to show how to use it, not what was inside they reluctantly they agreed to the refund and asked for the receipt, which showed she had bought two other foil barbys. When asked why she had only brought one back the lady replied, that the other two were still in her freezer as she thought it was just this one that was missing the food
  3. Beer-can chicken is my Christmas Dinner speciality! I pefer to use Speight's in mine, good excuse to scull half the can each time. Helps to flavour the meat without over powering it, and also keeps it lovely and moist. Works on my cheap-arse Warehouse barby by standing the chickens on the hot plate side and then cooking with the burners on the grill side with the top down. Nice and easy cooking - 10 mins to prepare, leave it to cook, then eat!

    Plank

Planking is now officially dangerous and on the banned list.. two guys have been sacked from their jobs at an oil refinery in Aussie for planking on the top of one of the buildings! I sense a usual knee-jerk over-reaction to this new fad...
  5. Have a good one Foxy! Looks like you need to increase the number on the side of the race car a bit ! I'll be behind Paul in the queue for a drink tomorrow....
  6. Some (?) nice cars Dan, don't you mean ALL nice cars! I can't see a single one on there I wouldn't want to own, even the Benz's are pretty damn good.
  7. As above, the proposed changes make sense and are more logical, but, about 50% of the drivers on the road don't know the current rules - chances of them knowing the new ones? Will take a while but eventually they should all get it.
  8. Wouldn't cost that much to cut the roof off your's would it Atta? Personally I don't have a problem with the seat "M"s, well not as much as the stripes on the dash dials anyways!
  9. Any pics? I am keen to get some uniforms for Team JTP next season and had looked at the Apex site with interest.
  10. I am 99.99% sure it is the other way around John, if you want your information to be kept private, you have to tell LTNZ (or whatever they are called this week) that you don't want your information handed out. I remember going on the web-site and doing this for all my vehicles, and families vehicles, so the info is not given out.
  11. Aaaarrrgggghhh - my favourite CSL colour as well, if only..Just a long shot, do you think the owner would take a wife and two small children in part exchange? Photos can be supplied if interested...
  12. Strange, what would some of Chelsea's top boys be doing cruising around in Petone? Mind you they are probably banned from the Bridge now so it's possible, not that they used to go to the footy much anyways, just the rucks.Or possibly there is a different version of the Headhunters in NZ I wonder if it's a franchise

  14. Ahh, that old chestnut, if I buy this Exx then I'll sell the Exx to pay for it! Insert Tui ad..Will you be able to tow the race car with an E30 Dan? Or is it just an excuse to borrow a tow car from your old man??
  15. And Foxy's on to it already! You do realise it's not an E28 Dave???
  16. Your definition of not having any money is an interesting one Dan... Seems to be the same as mine, I have no money, but I can still buy another Bimmer !
  17. Just double check the race regs mate, I think there is something in there about which cylinder and booster is to be used. I have a couple in the garage which may be suitable - would do with a re-seal and hone though.
  18. I thought brake uprades were for performance, not looks?I must be getting old .
  19. Which the guy is going to post up on the auction at the week-end, after I asked nicely if he had any more pics.Simple enough really, rather than guessing...
  20. Don't Honda owners realise you can get locking wheel nuts?? Not fool proof, but enough of a PITA to deter most that would try sh*t like this. Found my mates XR2i sitting on blocks like that outside his girlfriend's house back in England one morning and LOLd then gave him a slap for not fitting the locking wheel nuts which were sitting in the boot of the car!
  21. I have a couple of boxes of loom from a pre-facelift, I think it is all there. Also have the fan / heater box and loads of brake lines (not sure about the rear trailing arm ones tho') if you are interested... Would be willing to let the go for cheap as you're such a good b'std
  22. There is the "Immigrant's Vehicles" category which is very loose in terms of compliance with impact rules and emissisons, etc (which you would need with a TVR!!). Not sure if you would qualify being a returning Kiwi. Best place to check is the NZTA (or whatever it's called this week) web-site as it is very well covered on there. Certainly owning it over there and then bringing it over would help find a loop hole or two.
