also check the door jam switch as these wear out and the control box wont know if you door is closed or not

i have some old ones have you got a picture of it , easier to spot in a create full of them

just make sure they they dont dereg it , keep it with you at your pleace etc

rocker cover gaskets leak , comon . boot latch /catch broken , easy to replace. also the locking actuators fail , then people try to force them open etc

looking at $1500 for the zf manual kit from the 528i , also have most parts for a getrag e39 kit $1200 sold the rattly m62b44tu v8 ages ago, have a good m60b40 $1400

its 265 box , like found in m30 engine cars like e28 535i or e24 635csi etc, but yes basically the same as a e30 m3 type

might be for the purge valve for the emmision stuff ,carbon canistor etc, not needed

any e36 coupe ones will do , only differences is some times the speakers and the early ones have carboard clip strips and later ones are plastic

same as early m62 non vanos engine. but yes will flow more at high rpm than the vanos m62

only e36 coupe will fit and not from compact
