Yup, unfortunately things are only worth what someone is prepared to pay, a testament to that would have to be that I paid only 6k for a E46 320d M Sport manual. Along with that red Alpina from Christchurch it has to be one of my favorite E30's

If your TV has FreeView HD built in then getting a Satellite would be as good as a chocolate teapot. You'll need a UHF Terrestrial aerial. The two TV's have FreeView HD built in and both are running on bunny ears (we are in Halfway Bush) which is quite a high altitude and brilliant reception, parts of Dunedin require the Terrestrial aerial with an amplifier - it's never been an issue before. In saying this, even when the TV is on MySky we get the same result as the picture being crappy. I only use the TV on 1,2,3 on FreeView because the picture is slightly better. It only seems to be doing this since they made everyone in Dunedin re-tune their TV's Cheers.

Nope, I even defaulted the TV back to default settings & set it up from scratch again, logged it onto wifi, setup all the inputs e.t.c. and still looks like a bag of sh*t. I have a 32" LED in our dining room aswell and it's running on FreeView HD and looks crap aswell and that is normally a very clear little TV.

Watching it now mate and still in SD. Looks terribad!

Is it just me in Dunedin or is everyone not receiving HD transmissions on channels 1,2,3 ? I was watching the news lastnight on 3 and normally it's in HD but was pixelated terribly. It's rather annoying that they say it's in HD yet the picture is absolute crap!

Price seems to be a lot less than last time huh? If lotto installed some millions into my bank I'd be flying up and driving that ahem, getting it transported back with lots of insurance and following the truck..

What a mongrel of a thing to work out? Anyone here that knows about installing these? The guy I bought my E53 from had a iPhone4 Parrot installed and he took it out thinking he'd put it in his new car. New car he bought had it installed anyway so he included the MKi9100 with the car. Trouble is. I can't work out how the f**k to re-install it. It looks as if it just plugs into an existing power jack somewhere, but I can't find anything and getting under the cover under the steering wheel took me over an hour to take off and put back! Any help would be great! Have included pics to get more of an idea...

That car has been on there for more than a year. They wanted 50-60k plus then. At 25 it's an absolute bargain but I'd be getting it checked out prior to handing over any beer vouchers!

With the originals, are they still calling them Euro plates? So many times I've seen them on Japanese cars for example a Toyota Previa, Hilux, Landcruiser e.t.c. They look horrid and most of the time they don't fit and have to be bent just for them to fit on the back.

My old 03 E60 only had about 20kms on it yet I still managed to fork out over 2k in repairs in only a few months of ownership on electrical failures. IMO if you get a good 2nd hand NZ new one and in diesel you are less likely to go wrong.

Because I'm on the hill, I only have rabbit ears in the wall behind the TV connected and I get a freeview hd reception, same with our other freeview TV haha, yet in Mosgiel they have to have the full blown terrestrial aerial and in most cases with amplifiers!
