spotted a mid-90's MX5 with the plate 84MR2 ... um yea lol
-
oh nah that's way above my skills, I paid someone to do it for me lol you'll want to have about $2k all up to be on the safe side, but as long as you don't need to replace anything that comes in the conversion kit then you should get a bit of change from that the forums sponsors will be able to help you out with sourcing the parts, installation etc, Ray at HellBM would be a good place to start this is the k&n kit http://www.knfilters.com/search/product.aspx?Prod=57i-1001 I think it was around $500 new shipped from the states any car part shop that stocks K&N filters will be able to source it for you if you don't have any luck with ebay from what I've read, Remus seem to be one of the best exhausts around for beemers, I haven't really looked into it too much yet though

Hi, I'm on the hunt for some new rims for my E36 coupe (I've put a couple of pics of my car in my profile gallery) I'm still undecided on 17's or 18's at this stage, but it'll be one of those 2 sizes one thing I do know is that I love the multispoke look After looking through a few magazines, I narrowed it down to Beyern Multi, unfortunately they are next to impossible to get now So I kept looking, and have found TSW have 2 wheels I like - Silverstone and Zolder 5 Does anyone have any other suggestions? Cheers

my mate works for Road and Track so got him to order in the K&N kit from the states I don't notice the power difference (if there even is one) but damn it sounds heaps better lol, just need a decent exhaust system to match now lol the conversion kit was $1300 I ditched the flywheel that came with it in favour of a lightened m20 flywheel the standard flywheel for the e36 is a big heavy dual mass, so the light single mass was an easy choice can't remember exactly how many hours of labour it was, but it didn't take very long, 4 or 5 hours maybe
-
welcome, always good to see more E36 coupes on here manual conversion was the best money I spent on mine, totally transformed the car I'd suggest doing that before the lowering as I'm quite certain mine sits higher now after the conversion (there is a significant weight saving with the manual, the auto boxes are huge)

yea I did the same when I nearly mucked up a hill start with quite a bit of traffic behind me, ended up getting a bit of wheel spin going for a second or 2 just lucky there wasn't any cops around, but I can really appreciate how easy it is to do, especially in the wet and especially when there's a bit of oil etc on the road

happy bday mate, have a good one
-
yep PWC yea heard a few people mention that it's on hard rock, but the building also exits onto Lambton Quay where Borders is, so I guess half the building would be ok lol
-
home delivery would be very awesome, but if they don't come round then it's not a big deal, there's quite a few places around here to buy them from, I'm just lazy is all lol

List of earthquake prone buildings in Wellington city ... http://www.unitedfuture.org.nz/assets/sm/u...20Buildings.pdf I'm quite glad that my work isn't listed on there, apparently the building was built in the 1960's or 1970's, and it is located on The Terrace ... although maybe because of it's location, it was made stronger long before the building codes and laws changed

do the girls still go door knocking selling them? haven't seen that done around here since I was a teenager, but it could just be the town I live in lol
-
oooo yea that'd be choice only thing I don't like about 97% of them is that I can't see the icons around the address bar properly
-
hmm, a couple of years ago, a lady at work was selling them on behalf of her daughter at $4.50 for plain and $5 for choc I was so horrified at how much they'd gone up in price that it was the first year I hadn't bought any I guess either they've come down in price now, or the lady (and / or her daughter) were trying to make a bit of money on the side, which really isn't cool when it comes to charity

hiYes I'm in the employee benefits team in Wgtn I can't name names sorry, but I can let you know that those 4 are all ok We spoke with Chris A just after it happened, he left the building to go for lunch only a few minutes before the quake struck We've found temporary office space for the CHCH staff, and are just trying to suss out laptops for them, so they'll be back up and running soon
-
yea seen it a couple of times in Silverstream
-
haven't been on Moonshine Road for quite a while, but it used to be a regular as my mate's parents had a batch out Bulls Run Road my mate had a 1275gt mini that he would drive through there at some crazy speeds, damn that thing could corner well Blue Mountains is a regular drive for me when I visit my mates in Silverstream, heaps more fun than SH2 lol but yea the road gets a bit sketchy in places watch out for cyclists and people riding horses during daylight hours yep a few times, only late night though lol was the quickest way to get to my now ex's place mum used to live in Raetihi, I always went parapara's, last time I went through was just as they were starting the re-alignment work though
-
the more I look at that wheel the more I like it probably would be a heck of a lot easier to fit than an aftermarket wheel (if I were to ever find one lol!!) this is it on RealOEM http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?mo...hg=32&fg=35 I'm going to put a price request through to BMW to see how many pennies I need to save lol

this is our chch branch .. http://www.stuff.co.nz/business/industries...l-missing-staffI can update that info ... We had a phone conference at lunch time with the CEO and executive leadership team from Auckland, and the various offices around the country. 2 of the 3 mentioned Marsh employees are still unaccounted for, but they were last seen in the building before the quake hit, so not looking good, but still holding out hope for them The 3rd person mentioned in the article has passed away, unconfirmed, but our CEO spoke to his wife and she said that she was told of his death by the emergency workers. What is really unfortunate about this is that he was over from one of our Australian offices helping out the claims team with the September earthquake.

our chch office is in the Pyne Gould building

my workmate had a iphone 4 before she sold it for a samsung galaxy she let me have a play with both phones and my impressions were that iphone was easy to pick up and use for anyone, and while the galaxy was easy to use, you need to be a bit of a geek to really get the most of out it
-
yea I quite like it too didn't they actually build one and it lives in their museum or something? I'm sure I saw pics and it looked heaps worse than the pic in the first post, but I might've imagined it lol
-
welcome I'd like to see some pics of your 323i when you get the chance to put some up

I think the E46 wheels looks obese, much like all the E36 3 spoke airbag wheels I hate those humongous centre sections the only factory E36 wheel I like is this one http://www.rdautosport.com/Ebay2005/E46M3SWAB20s.jpg I don't love it though, and would like some more options to choose from

looks tidy, but be careful with the trans mine had a really bad jatco jerk with less kms on the clock
