Csi would look tits on a black car I reckon
-
Looks like it. But I think they're glued on.

Think it's a jap thing tbh. Have seen similar things on a range of jap cars. Definitely needs correction imo!

See one around here quite frequently in summer.Saw one of those new Rolls Royce coupe things on centennial highway. Ugly.
-
New front hubs, roundel and fogs. A few items ticked off the list that grows by the day.
-
The 2 Year old and I fully enjoyed that.

No, that's just a 535i with m sport suspension and steering wheel. Already checked. Dude isn't asking too much tho, depending on the state of it.

I'll keep this brief as to not ruin dg's thread. While fwd does have its limitations, it's idiots that try and drive them like a rwd that tend to make them plough and fall off the road. Entry speed, braking points, throttle on points - all different. We all know you're a manual rwd zealot. Dosen't make you right though.

I'll be taking my type 3's up to palmy soon for a refurb, so will need a set of e39 wheels with tyres to run around on while Warren works his magic. Preferably lower north island. What you got?

While I stipulated home brewery, I didn't stipulate scale... I''ve allowed for about 30k for gear, and about 70 to replace the non plumbed sleepout I currently use with a purpose built building. The setup would probably allow for 400L Batches. It's a wishlist after all

500k to mum, 260k to settle mortgage 150k on e60, e39 and e34 M5 100k on home brewery setup 3.9m to invest

As kws said, self bleeding. Just check the level in the expansion tank each morning for a couple of days, and top it up where required. Don't be tempted to overfill or it won't self bleed.
-
Failed wof for excessive play in front wheels. Also have a good shudder at highway speeds while under light braking. Would I be right to inspect thrust arms first?
-
It's a given that first time round they'll screw it up. But to then not fix it, especially when they are already working on the same section of road is negligent at best and criminal at worst. It's like driving in a mag 7+ earthquake.
-
Man hole cover on my street is a good 5cm below road level. Right in the left wheel track, and immediately after braking point. Does my head in.
-
Sh1 between peka peka and te horo. At the end of the passing lane (merge point), some inept contractor had attempted a repair to the road surface apparently by means of dumping a load of hotmix and spreading it around with a shovel. It's so bad, that even in the e39 I brace myself at 90 clicks. It's been like that for at least two years now, and the kicker? The preceeding 400m of road was re sealed this summer.

John's helped me out with bits on a number off occasions, most recently with a couple of elusive m7 intake manifold studs. Can't speak highly enough of him. Great guy that's always willing to help. Knows his sh*t too :-)

Hmm. I've never seen a new car with 0 kms. By the time they turn up at the dealership there's normally a couple of hundred on them.

Self tapping l/h thread screw? Last time I cold chiseled a cross in the top and used a Phillips screw driver to remove it
-
Was it an oem sensor? I had a cheaper one fail after just one month.

Damn. Not a fan of el gt, but that is spectacular!
-
Had no idea these were worth anything. Have one in my shed. Should list it

Boot loom most likely.
