E34 eh?1. Check loom on l/h boot hinge for breaks. Common as hell, both e34s I've owned had this issue. This should take care of rear end related warnings 2. Unplug headlight adjusters. This will fix front end warnings.

I thought hg too. But went to see a mate, and did tk and pressure test which all came back good. Found blockages in heater control valve, and reservoir in the gallery from bleed screw to reservoir. Over it really. Lol.

I actually rated the p4 over the T1R. Thought they were much better in the wet and gave better feedback. People seem to rate micheline pss2 in a staggered setup for these cars.

Fwiw, I have had an absolute headache with the cooling system on my m52. 2x tstat, 2x wp, 2x reservoirs, 2x tstat housings 1x radiator, 1x fan clutch, 1x fan, 1x fan shroud. It's now running a stable temp of 92/93 but I still have a heater control valve, and have noticed tonight a bit of seepage around bleed screw on reservoir, so will have to replace that with a third one. Oem this time. Mine kept getting hot due to two blockages and one tstat that was bad out of the box.

Just about to put my boy to bed, so gotta run, but quickly - iirc, operating temp is about 20deg hotter than when the gauge hits the middle. Steam from the exhaust could still be very normal at this temp.

When you say up to temp, is that via the gauge, or the ktemp menu?

Would smell of coolant If coolant was getting into the exhaust. Car could also miss at startup if hg. Bottom hose would still be cold because tstat hasn't opened yet as car not up to temp.

Was a crashed M5 reshelled in to a 525. saw this yesterday. carjam also says it's a BLACK 525i. bit confusing as its a fjordgrau type colour. Had complete Alpina regalia too. Wondering how extensive the replica is.

My car ran about 10 degrees cooler at idle when I replaced the fan clutch. Tbh, the parasitic drag is sfa, as once moving the car cools down enough to switch off the fan in a matter off seconds. Deleting it could open you up to a whole lot of m52 cooling system pain. If that motor gets hot, then prepare to replace everything that is plastic or has a rubber seal.

pah. My subie had a custom primary turbo for 120k km, and was the most reliable car I've owned. Was also boosting 16psi on that turbo too. Lastly, subie TT is one of the most complicated turbo systems you'll come across.

I tapped in to the tape feed at the back of the head unit. Wires were yellow and blue from memory. Volume level is a bit lower, however that can be boosted with a line driver if your keen. Google e38 aux cables. Think that's how I found it

Tech 2 e30 touring parked out the front of my house yesterday. Looks mean. Like alot!

Replaced shitty cast alloy impeller vaico water pump with OEM unit. Seal on impeller side was shagged, causing A leak overnight. With any luck the oem unit fixes this, and I can forget about the cooling system for the next 100k.
