I do believe that the tyres on each side is different as it's an oval circuit and they only travel in an anticlockwise direction.

Have a look at this link. It is a series of photos of Mike Conway's big crash at the end of the 500. These are some of the best pictures i have ever seen (for free that is). See how many components you can recognize flying off the car. The best news is that Mike is now out of the hospital and expected back in a car in 3 months or so. http://www.scottrichardsonphotography.com/...-wreck-5-30-10/

My E36 has the "Jatco flare" and I have been quoted $2,500.00 to have it rebuilt with a 12 month warranty.I can get a manual conversion done for $1,800.00 plus in my case I want the flywheel lightened and balanced $200.00, a short shifter, new boot and gearknob. Approx price all up $2,500.00. By getting the Jatco rebuilt does nothing to the value of the car. A manual conversion will add value and improve the driveability and appeal. Guess which way I'm going?

And here I was thinking Graham had nothing better to do than troll through Trade Me counting the number of views every car has had.

I went to my local Gasolene Alley for petrol the other day and they do have forecourt service, Stupid woman who served me smashed the nozzle into the bodywork of C0SM0S just above the fuel cap and left a nasty dent. All I got was an apology and told it was just an accident. When I asked for compensation for the damage, I was refused and told to claim it on my insurance. I would rather stay with self service now and know my car won't be damaged.

Have a good one Jono, hope you're feeling a whole lot better.

I don't know if this has been posted before, but this has got to be the best example of rebadging yet.

I have an annoying problem with my E36 323. Sometimes, when I am usually in a hurry to start the car, the engine will turn over but it will just not fire. This happens with both keys. I have changed the reader ring on the ignition barrel without any result, I have had the alarm checked to make sure the immobiliser is switching off which is OK. To overcome the problem I have to take the key out of the ignition, wait a couple of seconds, then turn the ignition on, wait till the ABS light goes out, then gently start the car. It goes 1st time then. I have had Glenn check i out and have spoken to "Hotwire" and neither have heard of this problem. Has anypne here had this problem and how did you rectify it? Cheers Brian.

Fleggaard Holding is based in Krusaa, Denmark. Just across Germany's northern-most border with Denmark youll find an incredible superstore called Fleggaard. There, you can buy everything you need tubs of gummi bears, cases of wine, industrial strength dishwashing soap at prices 30% cheaper than youll find in Denmark. It is Denmark's answer to Costco, packaged as a German> loophole. The 100+ women (OMG... the women!!) do stunts in the air while free-falling holding hands to spell out a dishwasher soap ad for Fleggaard. (Well... it kinda LOOKS real!) You'd be hard-pressed to find a man in Denmark who hasnt seen and fallen in love with that commercial. It was geared strictly to men. The ad is authentic! (I'm not sure New Zaland audiences are ready for this commercial yet!) Here is a link to one of the best advertisement ever made. Honestly. It's awesome. (WARNING: Nudity!) http://www.m2film.dk/fleggaard/trailer2.swf

Warning!!! If you're watching this at work then turn the sound down low or wear headphones. You have been warned. "Bus crash in California causes major slut spill" http://www.theonion.com/content/video/vh1_..._bus_crashes_in

The car does show 10 changes of ownership, but 5 of those are dealers and are not counted as owners. When you state the number of owners a car has had, you only count the retail owners. Therefore this is a 5 owner vehicle.

Last time I looked in an atlas Britian was still a part of Europe so unless there has been a huge land shift that has moved the UK over to America, then that statement is entirely wrong.

This is an accident near New Orleans involving two trucks and a Smart Car. I Think I'll Pass On Saving Gas; I'd Rather Save My Ass

I voted petrol and will always be a petrol person until New Zealand cleans up it's act with deisel. The deisel that is available in this country is crap and until they get rid of the sulphur content, I would never consider a deisel car.

fatjoe sent me a PM and for everyone's information, this was my reply. Hi fatjoe, Thanks for your question. You have made the correct decision to purchase a late model but second hand car. It is always the first owner that loses the most value when they sell their car. Most buyers of new upmarket cars are usually wealthy people who can use this depreciation as a tax loss and they can write this off against their earnings. So in the first year of a cars life, expect it to decrease in value by around 30% (this is only an average). From then on it becomes a sliding scale. The Inland Revenue allow a 20% depreciation p/a. The car on Trade Me is now 67,000 which as you know is more than 20 grand below the list price. This person has made the largest loss that this vehicle will have in twelve months. (close to the 30% mark). With only 5,000kms. on the clock, this makes for very good buying provided it has never been in anaccident or have any other problems. Expect in the future, the depreciation to be incrementally smaller. I hope that this answers your question. Cheers Brian.

A marvelous answer A mechanic was removing the cylinder heads from the motor of a car when he spotted the famous heart surgeon in his shop, who was standing off to the side, waiting for the service manager to come to take a look at his car . The mechanic shouted across the garage," Hello Doctor!! Please come over here for a minute." The famous surgeon, a bit surprised, walked over to the mechanic. The mechanic straightened up, wiped his hands on a rag and asked argumentatively, "So doctor, look at this. I also open hearts, take valves out, grind 'em, put in new parts, and when I finish this will work as a new one... So how come you get the big money, when you and me is doing basically the same work? " The doctor leaned over and whispered to the mechanic..... . . .. . . . ... .. .. Doctor said : " Try to do it when the Engine is RUNNING "

Reducing the size of the rear spare tire/battery well

Can I recommend Mark Stokes. He's quite sympathetic and will usually sit down with you and explain exactly what you can and can't do and the best way to go about making the modifications you want to make. -
Matt, try Ray at Hell BM he should have one.

What a pity it's a four door otherwise it's what I'm looking for.

Just one question Glenn, how on earth do you manage to cope with life when you have trouble telling the difference between a dog and a duck?

Thanks Simon, but it's too far away and what if my client doesn't like it then I'm stuck with a hairdressers car.
