  1. Ideally after a damaged stock E46 M3 muffler. Will also consider undamaged examples. Reason being is that I am just after the two inlet pipes, hence I would rather chop up a damaged muffler than one that is in good working order.
  2. Didn't realise it didn't have a cert. Not so great buying at $23k then...
  3. I currently run the Eibach Pro Kit on my M3 with stock shocks - it's a mild drop and not impractical at all in terms of ride height. My stock shocks only have +/- 70k on them and still feel as if they're in reasonable order hence I haven't upgraded those yet. If my M3 saw more use and spirited driving I would be upgrading the shocks sooner rather than later however. I did purchase a set of Koni Yellows through George Stocks for my E46 Touring and that made a big improvement to the ride. I recommend them if you want to avoid the cost and hassle associated with the coilover option. The only problem with those is that rear rebound adjustability is a nightmare if you intend on playing around with the settings. Unfortunately in NZ there aren't many options for locally supplied coilovers other than BC's. As mentioned above, Demontweeks, Schmiedmann etc would likely be your best bet if you're after a decent set of coilovers.
  4. The rear tail lights are an interesting modification, seems odd to 'downgrade' to an E46 M tail light set... Otherwise at that mileage and price point (subject to service history, PPI etc...) it could be quite a good option for someone wanting an M3 as a daily or for regular use.

    E46 M3

@m325i those look great! Where did you end up buying them from?
  6. I've had it coming up four years in August. Enjoyed every minute of ownership, need to drive it more often.
  7. @darren_mk welcome fellow Imola Red/Silver Grey M3 owner! Did you buy this out of Wellington? If it's the one I am thinking of I recall it being very sharply priced.

    E46 M3 Manual

I would be buying a Z4M if you want more significant appreciation over the short to medium term, and if you only plan on driving a handful of times per year. Same S54 engine, manual box, but much lower production numbers. I appreciate more $$$ (and patience) may be required to get into one of those though. Most of the good condition E46 M3’s have been sold privately lately FYI.
  9. As above. I purchased these tyres from Hyper 10 days ago. Unfortunately they were slightly too large for the rear of my E46 Touring, and went back to stock 255/35/18 MPS4's. Literally done 10km (Grey Lynn to Takapuna), hence tyres are in near brand new condition. Have receipt to confirm purchase. Pick up North Shore or Auckland CBD. $700 ono.
  10. Preferably in silver with 42mm - 43mm shank length.
  11. Que @M3_Power; I recall a post that either you wrote or referred to discussing the structural foam reinforcement method at length?
  12. Was recently on Trademe for $19,990 at a dealer in Auckland - rough as guts by the looks. Hifly tyres on an M3...?‍♂️.
  13. Staggered - 18x8 ET30 with 225/40/18 on the front, 18x9 ET44 with 245/35/18 on the rear. I ideally would like a tyre with a slightly taller sidewall on the rear, however these tyres came with the wheels so I am running them until they need replacing. Plan to replace with a 255/35/18 or 265/35/18 on the rear to gain a bit of ride comfort and to fill the arch out a little more.
  14. Will get some tonight ?
  15. Given you're a CSL guru, how do you think these compare to you your genuine CSL wheels? Are you able to do a side by side shot of both? I appreciate they're replicas so won't be 100% matched, but wondered about the spoke thickness, correct concavity etc. Appears plenty of people have purchased these wheels going by M3Cutters.
  16. I don't mean to shoot your ad down Tom, but going through CMWheels direct it appears you can get a brand new set of CSL wheels shipped to NZ for circa $1,700NZD. $1,426 for the wheels and shipping, plus $268 for GST and entry fees at the border. Very tempting to grab a set at that price!
  17. The M3 surrounds are a slightly different shape unfortunately! They need to be specific ZHP/MSport surrounds.
  18. Thanks Jon, if they're the right fitment I'll take up your offer ?
  19. As above - after a pair, new or used I do not mind.
  20. I could arrange transport for the right price. If you would like to know anything else about the car just let me know ??
  21. I appreciate you’re specifically looking for M54B30’s, but would you consider B25’s? My sedan is on the market; see the thread below: http://bimmersport.co.nz/topic/60062-fs-2003-estoril-blue-e46-325i-motorsport-individual/
