  2. https://www.trademe.co.nz/1938034014 2009 Z4M Coupe $50,000 asking price 45,800 kms NZ new 4 owners 3.2L Manual rego: KKT594
  3. i just jack up one side high enough to get under, prop it up with blocks, drain as much as I can then drop it down. then go round to the other side and lift that up on the jack to get some more oil out, then prop it up plug the hole, drop the car. so its like a see saw thing if you can imagine it. also I always fill 500ml less than the capacity, thats more than enough to start the car and usually there is a fair bit left inside. I usually drain for a good 3ish hours to get as much out as possible.
  4. ^short answer is no. and if you stick with castrol edge 5w30 you are going to be A-OK.
  5. it was a cheap alternative $30 vs $300.
  6. People trying to go off on their tangent please stick to the list you are welcome to make your own poll. This statistic is already very interesting for me. Very few votes for e46 despite everyone saying its going to be a classic. And suprisingly e39 ahead by a mile. Also the 1m is a suprise despite a lot of people disregarding it as not being a true M car. Edit: i just realised i put other/comment as an option so i guess i cant be complaining. Oh well
  7. HPR5 very good oil and good price. Meets bmw ll01 standard and it probably doesnt burn as much as edge. I use edge because im used to it and it hasnt caused any problems for me. Confirm and let me know and i can find out! Comes in boxes of 3 bottles usually which isnt a problem for bmw guys. It does 2 changes and top ups
  8. I can get it a bit cheaper any day of the week in case anyone misses out let me know
  9. Nice car, have a look at what I did to our old E91 325i

definitely read this comment wrong the first time round..
  11. Yea they used to pop up every now and then but nothing in a while. Just a lack of e34s in general. Even the e39 is thinning out a lot In favour of the cheap e60s and even cheap f10s
  12. right. pretty much stopped caring once they got into the F chassis, only know the basic model numbers like the F20 (mine) and F30 didnt realise the M has their own numbers lol. I had to pick the M2 but my actual pick would be the M2 comp hands down. The new G30? 3 series looks interesting for sure though
  13. you want to talk to the guy down south in invercargill
  14. I originally put the E30 M3 and the E34 M5 but then I thought about it and basically you cant get those in NZ. so I wanted to stick with something a bit more "realistic"
  15. I chose M cars that are "relatively" available here in NZ and is not priced crazy out of this world such as the E30 M3
  16. might be easier to just give them a ring and ask them?

Im a big fan of seikos because you can still have all the fun but at a lesser price point compared to the much more expensive brands of watches. still looking for a seiko blue spark tho..

    Tired X3

People think that taking a car for a 1 yearly wof and getting new wiper blades and a headlight bulb = regularly serviced. end of story.
  20. do you need new tyres john? I have a set of re003's in those exact sizes which I need to sell.
  21. if you want a second option colour code in onehunga did a job for me, was very cheap. decent job.
  22. whats the deal with the paint touch ups by a "professional"
  23. Looks about right. There are cheaper options for both if you source yourself and get it fitted elsewhere.
