As hot as that is, I am extremely worried about the women with powertools shown in those pictures.

Done. 4 hubcentric rings or "cbl"s on their way to me now. Had to get the pros to measure them up for me, since I fail at life haha. Now i just need to scrape some cash together for springs so the wheels actually look good on the car too Edit: Fixed terrible spelling.

Make that 72 lol. Measured wrong bit
-
Hub size appears to be 60mm. Not much different, but its certainly enough to make lining the studs up very difficult!

What head-deck did you buy? As I know a lot of them these days all have about the same power, around 52w per channel. Its about the max they can squeeze in there. (54w headunits do exist too, slightly rarer.) Generally most shops in their displays run the bigger speakers (6x9s etc) off an amp, I know supercheap does .
-
Tyre shops, yes. Only one sells wheels, and I doubt they'd be able to help. (Seeing as it was a beaurepaires that fitted them in the first place!) Cheers, I'll see If i can grab a caliper today and PM you the results.
-
I doubt it, since theyve been vibrating ever since I drove out the store. Unfortunately i dont think we havve any wheel shops in porirua, might have to go into town or over the hutt to get them. When I can get a caliper to find out what I need haha.

From memory COTF rules specified pretty much a standard chassis, suspension, engine etc. So it will just be silhouttes. Or damn near it, maybe they get to make their own engines, but it'll be to the specs they are given.

Depends what headunit they used in the shop, as it sounds like your overloading your headunits internal amp. Causes it to shut down while it cools, then starts up again later on. Or just stays off till you lower the volume to something it can handle. If it is that, then the best solution is to run the speakers off an external amp, 2channel if its just the rears, or 4channel if you want all four.

Vehicle: 1985 BMW 320i (E30) Wheels: TSW Stealth 15x7 front, 16x7.5 rear Problem: Ever since having the new wheels fitted I have had issues with a vibration through the steering wheel between 65kph and 85kph. It's just been rather annoying so far, not causing any other issues but I want to get on top of it before it does. The wheels were balanced before fitting, however car has not had a wheel alignment since being fitted. I removed one wheel just before, and it's quite obvious that they have a hub size larger than that of my car, so perhaps requires hubcentric rims? Does this sound like a probable cause for my problems? And also, who would carry hubcentric rings for my car? Perhaps Johnno? I am off to buy a Caliper soon so I can measure the wheel's hub dimensions. Also, the wheel is stepped on the inside. A large diameter hole, rather shallow, and then smaller diameter right through... I assume I'm measuring the smaller diameter? As the larger one is probably in excess of 100mm. Smaller seems somewhere around 60mm... Cheers for any help provided .

Wow that Cold Air box looks very nicely made. My oven trays crudely bashed into place and rivetted together are quite jealous!

Always good to have more people from around the south end of the north island . Feel free to tag along to our Welly meets if you can spare the gas (both Josh and the OP). Always a blast, even if we dont always get good numbers haha.

Surely somebody needs some cheap wheeeels
-
Shame its so late at night so not too many people around to post here

To remove the glue use a wax and grease remover (prepsol, or supercheap stuff). I used it to get rid of the sticky residue from my taped up sunroof, and its all ive found that will get gum (from a gumtree) off my paint...
