    Yet Another E30

New Wheels. TSW 15" + 16". Needs low.
  3. Wheels are now in Porirua . Anybody need some skid rims/temporary wheels?
  4. They also have hankooks and kumhos on their site? Is that terrible? Most dealers these days deal in a whole range of tyres, from sh*t all the way up.
  5. I have two in Lachsilber metallic. At home, so I can get you some pics on friday/saturday. PM me an offer (are they even worth anything? i just have mesh in place of them haha) (please don't quote entire OP when you're first to respond)
  6. Rush hour isn't too bad I find, the clutch on an E30 isnt too stiff really. Just takes some practice . Mind you, i do have PT 3 times a week to keep my clutch leg in shape haha. Also it's fun as to be in control and beat most autos off the line at the lights Definitely wanna see the pics. I needa get mine lowered sometime and Im wondering wether h&r might be a goer. Should make a showroom thread for it
  7. GarminAsus Nuvifone! Mint phone, kinda all the features of an iPhone at a fraction of the cost, and with a real gps inbuilt, so you can navigate with no data charges . Although txting on a touchscreen is always a pain
  8. No experience with legnums, but as for dying randomly... on my subaru it was the fuel pump on it's way out, and on my E30 it was the fuel pump relay dying.. maybe they are on the right track with the fuel system?
  9. I have the 4 genuine mudflaps, but don't think i have clips and screws for them. PM me what you'd be willing to pay, I dont need anything you have.
  10. Im moving to Wellington. Eventually to Hamilton, but not til sometime next year probably. I'd prefer someone to take them from me before i move, but as im moving next weekend i think im gonna have to squeeze them into my car somehow.
  11. To be honest, although i wasnt there, i can almost guarantee that some of those "young people" who "didnt think to help" may have thought of it, but felt a little intimidated by the "grumpy oldies", or simply felt that there help was not required. I'm happy to help when asked, always, but I feel very uncomfortable, almost as though I'm doing wrong, if I'm giving a hand where I'm not sure if it's needed or not.
  12. If you always wanted it then it's an easy choice right? Besides which, rims just make it look pretty, a manual box makes a real difference (Although everyone loves a good looking E30 )
  13. Manual it!!! Soo worth it, they are awesome fun in manual! Especially lowered, with decent shocks, on a nice set of twistys
  14. Hah really? You must be a giant cos im 6'3" and have a sunroof (therefore lower headliner) and fit in easy. Ok so the seats on a slight lean haha.
  15. Yup, but you know there will be one next time I'm back. I'll make sure of it (again lol). Welcome to the forum btw, I'm from Porirua too haha, and gonna be back there in a few months. Plenty of local expertise around there if you ever need a hand. (Brams, flake, me etc )
  16. Very nice. Got any plans for it? Rims, lower etc? Or just leave as is?
  17. Try uploading a pic smaller than 800x600. Then you'll be sweet.
  18. Happy bday mate. Ps. Update your thread/s!! Whatre all your cars up to? haha
  19. Cage it If they are still as awesome as they used to be it'll cost you the steel and the paint. The expertise comes in your course fees (I built mine for under $600 )

    Low e28

Rivet-on flares. And removal of any guard that gets in the way haha.
  21. I like your thinking....
  22. Cheers Simon, unfortunately I don't see myself staying with the RNZAF even if I do not manage to become a pilot. I've learnt a lot here, and certainly learnt a lot about myself, but I also figured out that this isn't the job for me. I am very determined however to fly, I've dreamed of it ever since the first plane i went on (737 ). So I will be putting in the most possible effort, and the way I figure is it's better to do it now when I'm young, and have plenty of time to pay off the extensive loan then to decide to jump for it later, and have to rely on getting a job to pay off debts and survive etc. However that leaves me with a final decision to make. What BMW should I aim to acquire after becoming a succesful pilot?
  23. Bump... $75 Need these gone so I can get outta blenheim! lol
