i assume the M54 manifold would also work on a single vanos M52?

323i intake is restricted so that there is a bigger difference in power between 323i & 328i

such a nice car, such a good price. Hope it goes to a fellow forum member who will continue to look after it!

Just purchased some stupidly expensive narva "white" bulbs from ripco. Turns out I already have osram blue bulbs in there, so the narva ones make no difference. The headlights are almost a blue tinge to the white

Hi Ive got an e36 coupe. It came with very white headlight bulbs installed, but now the yellow fogs and park lights bother me. Anyone got any recommendations for good bulbs (i still want decent light output) for the fogs, and something (maybe led) for the parks? Im weary of using random trademe leds as i dont want to be getting check control bulb errors. They must be white though, not yellow or blue.

how much for the M3 one above, with the cup holder?

so so jealous of BOTH cars.... Always wanted that alto, but it never came up forsale when i had the bloody money

i spot you every few days on my way home from work (near UC)... usually just catch a quick glance as you drive past me stuck in traffic >_<

okay sweet, i can live with that. Anyone got any ideas on the stop light in the wing?
-
yeah, doesnt have a lip. Will be getting one asap.

Couple of things. Is there meant to be a stop light in my rear spoiler? Ive got a crappy aftermarket histop light stuck in my rear window. The wing has a black strip in it, with "BMW Motorsport" printed on it where i would assume the light should be. Some pics ive seen seem to show a red led strip. Also, should my rear fogs work on both sides? Ive got all the bulbs in place (dual filament on both sides), and all my other lights work. Only my drivers side rear fog works.

As per title, im after a BLACK arm rest console, with the cupholders. Similar to this pic, but black. Anyone got one available?

Amazingly the paint isnt faded, in the previous pictures it was just THAT dirty it made the paint look really dull. Suppose thats what you get for a mixture of quake silt and road works dirt. The wheels had so much brake dust caked on them they looked gunmetal. Itll get a decent wax/polish/clay when i move to wellington and have a garage to do it in. Also found tire shine is damn good at blackening the plastic trim too. Going to autosol the exhaust tip when i can be bothered.

It was forsale. I bought it a couple of weeks ago.

other than the wheels, looks damn similar to mine lol Love hellrot coupes!
-
Thats only after a clean, not even a polish/wax!

Gave my car a quick clean today, turned out bloody good. Only a little fading on top of the rear wing, other than that the paint is great. From To <3 Hellrot.

A manual conversion is VERY high on the list once im done moving. Looks like ill be paying around 1-1.3K for a conversion kit, and hopefully i can find somewhere i can do the work myself (if not my own garage). Anyone know if the 318is manual setup (gearbox, clutch, lines, driveshaft etc) is EXACTLY bolt in for an M52 323i? Also, ive heard there is issues with the ECU on some cars when converting to manual? Something to do with the later OBD2?

Cheers for the heads up, have asked. Theres a couple of 97s on there, but people seem to be struggling with the whole "wtf is a transmission control unti?" thing.
-
keep it for the lawnmower...
-
mmmm, thats a very tasty looking car. any pics of the interior?
-
ive used the subaru UEC on my previous subbies, and on some it makes a hell of a difference. My last wrx i did it to, ended up returning better economy and came on boost quicker.

TO suit jatco transmission in E36. prefer from 320i or 323i, cars build date MUST be newer than 1/97. Transmission control unit, lives near ECU. In chch can pick up or pay postage, let me know what you want for it.

Thanks for the advice. How can I tell when my car was made? Is there a way to tella newer tcu from old one? Does it have to be a tcu from a Jdm car? Oh an yea sadly the car is covered in dust and dirt. All the roads around where I live are torn up, so hard to keep clean

Itll get a damn good clean, and a rear debadge eventually.... Installed my headunit today, woot.
