    FS 93 Manual 325i

Bastard! sh*t load of car for the money, just needs a decent tidy up and itll be mint. Sounds awesome, wanna steal that exhaust "good stereo" is a huge understatement if it still has what it had in it last time i saw it. Has an M3 box too, doesnt it?
  2. saw a fiji green sedan on the motorway heading towards the hutt the other week.... certainly stands out!
  3. Need the alloy upper arm, and the straight metal shift rod to suit a getrag (but i think the ZF shifter is the same anyway) to suit 6 cylinder E36. Im prepared to buy the whole shifter if need be, even if the bushes are poked. My 4 cylinder shifter setup has moved the shifter its self back too far. Edit, just checked the apparently i HAVE to use a getrag shifter. Nuts.
  4. i'd be interested in the shift linkages if you would sell seperate?
  5. i just want it so it remembers im logged in each time i visit >_< Other than that, i dont have an issue with it. Clean, easy to use, easy to navigate.

I havent fit the mesh yet, as im going to get the front lip first (around $118+gst iirc from the dealer), then take the bumper off and do the whole lot in one go. The ICV is a LOT easier than i expected. Heres the list of DIYs i followed, http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum/showp...mp;postcount=49 http://www.dvatp.com/bmw/diy/icv_ccv/ http://www.bimmerforums.co.uk/forum/f3/199...m52-icv-t41173/ The ICV is the silver thing below the rag stuffed in the manifold, in the first pic of the second link. You can also see the 3 bolts in that pic, and where the hose would join the ICV. It really is as easy as removing the intake, the 3 bolts where the dip stick tube mounts to the manifold, the electrical connector off the rear of it then pulling down on the hose that comes from it (you remove the hose from the rubber intake bend). Clean the crap out of it (i used carb cleaner) then refit. I also cleaned the TB with CRC electrical contact cleaner (didnt use carb cleaner as its too harsh).

had a little spare time today, so went ahead and cleaned my Idle Control Valve and throttle body. Removed TB from manifold, as it was easy, and meant i could clean both sides of the plate. Also helped give me space to remove the ICV. Was really surprised how easy it was to get the M52 ICV out, after reading how horrible the M50 ones are to get out. Couple of bolts, a hose, an electrical connector and just pull the ICV straight down off manifold. Whilst there i also debaffled my air filter box and cleaned my MAF. Car idles so smooth i thought i had stalled it a few times on the test drive after doing the work, and its also pulling harder at low RPM (still anemic in the higher rpm, need new exhaust and M50 manifold to fix that)

Bumper mesh arrived today, yay. Will sort that at some time soon. Those slats and the lack of lip are the only two things letting the looks of this down atm. Need to sort a lip, just no too sure how to go about mounting it. I hear self tapper work well....

    Crazy E36+E90=E96 GTR

I fully agree tbh, the standard E36 has much better lines/shape than what you have created. BUT in saying that, i seriously admire and respect the work you have put into it. Its not my car, i dont have to drive it or look at it, so as long as you enjoy it who cares? Keep it up! Does need a big engine though. I think a twin turbo 1UZ would sound sex
  10. I want your steering wheel and tail lights....

    Some E36 parts wanted

So mesh is on its way. Anyone got the OBC or lip? Lip doesnt have to be genuine (but MUST be plastic or rubber, not fiberglass) but would prefer it was.
  12. damn thats a VERY sharp price!

    Some E36 parts wanted

    Thanks! Purchased....
  15. Hi all I want a couple of E36 M3 bits. Namely the black mesh from the front bumper, and the front lip with mounting hardware (if possible, but will take the lip without the hardware). Also wouldnt mind an 18 button OBC and loom, but thats not a major. Im in wellington but can pay postage if need be.
  16. thats almost been on there as long as the interwebnets has existed. Nice car, would haul ass, but i totally agree the interior is FAR too busy! Im not really sure its worth the extra 50k on top of a standard BNR34 though. Thats getting close to R35 monies (edit, sh*t, thats more than R35 monies now days!).
  17. If you dont mind, good sir... WBABF82060EP82467

    KwS's E36 Coupe

Bit the bullet... Spot the difference..... (ignore the knob and lack of boot, theyre on their way) Its a whole new beast now, the way it should have always been! Cant believe how much better it is without the Jatco. BIG thanks to Jon and Keren at JK Southern Euro for their outstanding work. Highly recommend!
  20. i actually saw this in person the other day.... good lord its hideous!
  21. i was going to bid too but sadly forgot when it finished... just check now and HOLY jebus, made of gold or something?! Nice one still want a reasonably priced one though

    KwS's E36 Coupe

Kinda at a cross road of what to do with this thing. want to convert to manual but finding it really hard to justify the cost, even though i really enjoy the bimmer. On the other hand could sell it and buy a manual (albeit something completely different)....

    Which DSLR?

i completely love my Sony, and would never hesitate to recommend to anyone wanting a good "step up from entry level" camera. In fact, one of my old coworkers just purchased one after playing with mine and a mate with a Nikon D700 was even amazed at it. Built in focus motor Built in stabilization Built in GPS Built in gyroscope thing (displays virtual "level" on screen so you dont end up with wonky shots) Full HD movie mode Articulated screen Lightweight 10FPS shooting Built in auto panorama mode (can also do 3d panorama, but never tried that)
