^ Do it fingers are crossed for you haha
  2. I 325'd everything into a 316i, all bolted in worked a treat. Done. Aside from the motor but it has been done to death before. 316/318 have mounts for rear sway bar etc. Basically everything is the same model to model, the best thing about being able to modify e30's
  3. The best wheels for a 4 stud E30 IMO. Hope you get what you want for them Riley, would be all over them if I had the spare cash.
  4. Join the queue 15 x 8 will have to do for the moment.
  5. Rad. Old wheels were mint, least you've gone to a new level
  6. Haha cheers dude but nearly done anyway. Just found some that Dad had brought but not used, epoxy enamel in gloss black = solved Shot on getting a new job too.
  7. Epic win update. I <3 the shifter. Keep rolling son! Wana see it out on the track asap. BTW: Epoxy paint isn't great for your health, how do I know, painting my floor in the E30 atm with it smells good though
  8. Really wanted to go, but BDO and the E30 took all my money. Would be a sweet concert to go to.
  9. ^ There is a difference between taking advice and thinking you know better after someone was just trying to help in the most obvious way possible. I have said enough, at the end of the day this is the internet, not the real world life is too short.
  10. Andrew, with many forums, you have to earn respect when you join. Glenn has been on here for years and to anyone who has been on here more than a year will know how much of an asset he is, he has earned respect from others, I think it is apparent that you havn't earn't it. You can't just come on in wanking about how good you are at xxxxx etc and I know everything blah blah blah without earning respect, from people that A have been on this forum far longer than you and B there is always someone with more knowledge or experience than you, otherwise nobody will take you seriously. I for one, when joining the forum didn't post for a month or two just to get the vibe etc and have now got to a point where a few years later, I have heard from several sources that I am respected by all the moderators/admin. You have to earn your stripes, so stop walking over people who are just trying to give advice in the frankest, most efficent way possible, their lives don't revolve around giving advice on a forum to inexperienced people who didn't do enough prior research. Did you ever think the way Glenn gave 'advice' to you in your thread was because of how you reacted in several other threads you made when you were wrong? The flaming can go both ways, deserved or not.
  11. Several of my threads I have made lately have ended up down this route even my want to buy thread I posted today did. Honestly sick of all the crap on here, would not read on here anymore but 90% of the time I use it as a tool to learn/expand my knowledge/share the passion which still weighs out all the post horing and other crap that goes down on a small percentage of the threads. I joined bimmersport to learn how to do xxxxxx (and I bet a vast percentage of members on here are here for the same reason) not for personal attacks etc. I reckon the moderators/admin do a pretty good job but really should crack down a little more on post horing and people taking stabs at each other, nobody is perfect and everyone has their bad days but from the point of view of a relatively 'new' member compared to some, a lot of the forum is going downhill and losing a lot of its valued members who are sick of the sh*t i.e Grant, Martyn etc etc Just my 2c
  12. Need: E30 Boss Kit PM me or post here. Cheers, Nath
  13. Any dealer would be the way to go, or if you know someone with a spare cluster maybe borrow some bulbs off them.
  14. How can you call those balloon tyres nice wheels good luck with the sale.
  15. Thread I made 6 months ago. Still umming and ahhing about a 2.7/2.8 http://www.bimmersport.co.nz/forums/index....;hl=m20+stroker Heaps of good links/advice in there.
  16. They are the same stud pattern (4 x 100) and rear wheel drive offset (ET15) at 8 inches wide so I assume they would stick out quite far out of your arches being a front wheel drive? Someone with more knowledge can add their valid point here
  17. I used to get the biggest frights turning in roundabout's in 2nd gear in my old 316i and the rear end would kick out on new tyres. I had cheap tyres too but I think the road surface has more to play than the tyres. And before anyone asks I wasn't driving like a muppet.

Good stuff John, measure twice cut once this time round keep up the updates I love the color.
  19. LOL. The sad thing is, last year I ran roughly about 4,500km in training and racing miles. I drove this car and the previous one less distance than that in total
  20. Vacume Leak around your Air Filter/Throttle body hoses maybe if you have been playing with the TPS
  21. Small progress: Got all the rust removed and new steel plates welded in, would highly recommend Just Rust in Tawa, Wellington for anyone needing any rust repairs, fast, efficent and inexpensive service. Have body deadened everything and removed all surface rust spotted on the floor and started painting the floor with Wattyl (insert name here). Also have started a little bit of maintenence on the M20 to make it last a bit longer, with a more efficent redesigned air box on the way (does anyone know if having the AFM mounted on a vertical angle as opposed to a horizontal angle would affect its operation?, I had it set like this and the car ran like poo so have cut out the original Air Filter bracket for more room. All the extra wiring of the dash has been removed including all the stereo system and speakers along with the complete Air Con Unit. Fog Lights and a whole bunch of other things have no been removed since this will eventually be a stripped road legal track car now with no carpet etc going back in. Pics of rust repair/misc stuff: Next up is to fix the f*cked rear arches from any rust damage, some clown rolled them but never painted where it cracked
  22. Bump, pretty open to offers want these sold
  23. Best of luck Andrew, bigger and brighter things ahead
