Maybe buy a jet ski instead? And something to tow it with? Could be a more cost effective exercise/kill some of your said birds with one stone?

Slightly related Dan, but my Dad used to have a XR6 Turbo Sedan which he brought brand new when they first came out and f**k me it flew, had more than enough grunt i.e a good tow car to this day it felt quicker than the FPV GT that replaced it and the Focus XR5/ST Turbo that he has now. I see what you mean about the abudance of baby sh*t yellow ones about The sedan did have a few faults from what I remember, tyres falling apart, the usual Ford Electronics working one day then not the next, I would say the best bet would be to try a dealer for a little more security.

I run standard discs with Trusting Hi Performance Road Pads and Braided Lines with Motul 5.1 and the brakes are very good, never fading too much on the track, still a little spongy but I think that is down to the average master cylinder. IIRC Riley has Znoelli Discs in his E30, maybe ask him what he thinks of them.

And to top it off, Gran Turismo 5 shouldn't be too far away (the only reason my dad brought one).

^ The lower ones stick down far to low if you have a 'lowered' E30, the mounting points would eat judder bars etc. Upper ones are excellent.
