thats the tip of the iceberg mate...get hold of an owners manual for your,I bet it has features you dont know about....1) auto close of windows and sunroof 2)you can still close windows and sunroof after you have turned key off and or removed it..but not if you have closed drivers door..... real life convenience things...

as far as i know the m30 was either a 3 or 3.5(or maybe a 2.8) in the E28 -
is this at a certain time or every hour???The obc can be set to "chime" every hour(if its like the E34).I think the s/r button will toggle the chime on and of.When its on there is a little triangular ))) in the corner of the OBC.

i would look at the rear muffler first.At 210 kw there s nothing wrong with the basic M60 engine.....just think about what sort of output ss commodores and the like had until recently......and they started with a 5 litre v8besides a rear muffler or two will till be cheaper than a set of headers....

the 2.5 will be the m20 too,but the sumps could still be different. -
no ,other way around....e39 has 74.1mm hub E34 has 72.5 mm hub,same as most other 5,6,7 and 8 series....

must have been partly empty when you bough it...they are litres ,the washer fluid bottles....very tidy looking car,its nice to see that there are still people who look after older cars...well done oops low on gas too!

you need big pockets for M5s at times Mark....//M cars parts can be very expensive!eg Discs can be three times the price of normal BMW's.... Hope the 535 went to a good home...Mr E34 I can tell you a e 39 540 six speed feels very smooth and very powerful ALL THE TIME!

i think my 17 in wheels and tyres cost about 80-90 for the four from auckland to welly,,,seller packaged them up I think it was roadstar...

desnt worry me in the slightest,the assembly dtae for me is the most important as that has an mpact on parts etc...eg the e 39 facelift .FWIW mine was assembled december 89 sold March 1990

the m 60 does seem to have at least rudimentary headers...definetley seperate pipes from each cylinder
