i have bridgestone g 3 and they seem fine. They seem to be lasting well, they grip well wet and dry not noisy(maybe not quiet either i dont think you can be objective, old tyres will normally be noisier than new ones). For the record i run 235 45 17.I do do get tramlining.

what the......what year is your car,93 or 94?Why did BMw spec metric wheels on NZ cars?????My 1990 registered 535 had netric wheels(my spare is metric)I would have thought 540 would have had imperial .I was going to suggest a non staggered set up makes it easier for rotation replacement if all tyres are the same. Here is a lnk to a e 34 site ,note that (as glen says) that as you go up in whel size the tyre dia stays the same meaning the profile gets lower.!7s are prolly more common but if you are really worried about availability in kerikeri on news years day 16s might be better.E34s look really good with 17 or 18 in wheels and slightly lowered imho Some tips from a fellow e 34 owner.Get to know a GOOD tyre shop,e34 are very sensitive to tyre suspension wheel anomolies. If you get an aftermarketset of wheels they will almost certainly have a 74mm hub dia whereas the e34 has a 72.5 mm hub.you need hubcentric rings(thats what the yanks call em) to ensure your new wheels go onto the centre. Its only 3/4 of a mm offset but you will wonder what the hell is happening at 90 km hr if you dont get the rings.......the standard offset for the e34 is 20mm...oh and welcome

Thats a very tidy installation! even a m60 or m62 would be awesome....wouldnt it?would be tight tho,the m60 is a tight fit in the e34.

i had the work ute this week.I didnt notice any difference,75 percent of people are allright,20 percent arent paying attention and or dont know what they are doing and the same 5 percent are idiots and still try to push in etc.BMWE34 or Mazda Bounty......no difference. It seems there are more idiots towards the northend of the Hutt Valley tho

i have a mtb and a road bike, havent ridden much lately tho....1000 is the minimum if you want a new bike to work and last OFF ROAD.Its much better value if you buy second hand, but beware...remember there aint nothing so unpopular as last years mtb = good value.See if you can get the top of the line frame with middle of the road components. this makes it wortwhile to upgrade components, dont buy the top of the range "cheap " frame ,you may find there no suspension upgrades(if you go that way) later My mate has a road bike and a mtb..both of which the frames alone are worth? more than some E30,s

120mm 5 stud pcd,20 mm offset 72.5 hub dia,AFAIK ALL 5 and 7 series are interchangeable EXCEPT e 39 which has 74.1mm hub dia. Most aftermarket wheels will require a hubcentric(and the aforementioned E39) ring to space the wheel hub down to suit the e32 or e 34 hub, here is some info e34 wheel info just did a quick web search, found a commodore forum apparently commodore offset is 45 or so

mine is a bit loud and drony at lowish revs so i tend to not give it much loud pedal until i am either by myself or the traffic is spread out a bit,I think i would rev it a bit more if it was quieter...i can easily go to work without exceeding 3000rpm

inspection means a service is due or overdue, the service schedule goes oil service inspection 1 oil service inspection 2 oil service etc etc....you may also see a clock symbol which indicates annual inspection is due...this is a safety inspection overseas but also a reminder to change brake fluid and engine coolant(2 yrs max for these fluids)
