Maybe I'm a cynic, but seems like a put on to me.
-
Maybe so, but don't forget this is a car built to compete in motorsport such as the FIA European Hillclimb Championship. They all have wings like that. Its like saying the same of an F1 car.

You should actually connect the positive terminals first. If you connect the neg terminals, then touch the positive against anything metal on the car you will have a short.

Fronts will require spacers of 5mm ish (assuming 51mm struts for 320/325). Rears will fit but sit inside the guards a fair way. Correct offset is around ET20-25.

The ecu is the bit you need to worry about. Also it is a spike that causes the most damage (Like that which can happen when you connect the other vehicle to yours or you start the other vehicle. As the ecu is not connected to the power circuit with the ignition off, the best bet is to leave the ignition off, start the other car, connect the leads, then start the flat car. Most modern leads have spike protectors. Even so I tend to use a jump-start kit which has electronic protection.

You've got it looking mint Ryan. Good stuff. I would love to send pics of it to the guy I bought it off. He was a greedy bugger and tried to rip me off but I didn't budge on my offer and he eventually caved. I would love to see his jaw drop looking at how it turned out now you and I both had a crack at it lol.

Dean, Which side foglight blank is it? I think I have some extras I was keeping on the off chance that I might need them oneday, but you can have the one you need. Just cover the cost for postage. I have met Jared twice and he seemed ok, but you never know. Jared - a case to answer here mate! We can't be having dishonest members.

Awesome - reminds me of my first e30. Exactly the same as yours, but atlantisblau. Mint, unmolested auto 320i 4-door FTW.
-
Not my taste, but lots of work gone into it.
-
If you run spacers (which you will to fit e30) you need a cert.

You won't be sorry you went for the manual. Welcome.

The guy had a 535iSE up for sale that he had bought off TM, butchered it by painting lots of the trim black, and put it back on TM at double the price. He then proved himself to be an A-class tosser in the question and answers. The car didn't hit reserve and he put it up again at $1 reserve. Again acting like a total ass in the Q&A. We then suspect he used a friend to ghost bid on the car. When the auction was about to close much below what we knew he actually wanted for the car, sure enough he pulled the auction, then offered it to those on the watchlist at double the top bid. The guy is a cock.

Kingstars lol! Did you buy those specifically for roundabouts in wet weather?

Which is why I just skinned my copy of XP. Majority of the vista look-good features, none of the hassle.

Read it. Nice pics. Average article.

Link Its a forming trend. Liking the 599.

Once you have undone both bolts on the underside of the front bumper for f/l cars, you just need to pull it forward to remove it. It slides on clips either side at each end of the bumper. F/L and Pre f/l bumpers are NOT interchangeable without fabrication/modification.

ooops dunno how e46 became 246???? rofl 328mobbin edit. Would love to QFT.
-
Look good. Would love to see some on a car. What are you looking at with BMW centres, no tyres?
-
Woot! 23! tick tock tick tock. Just kidding. HB Shelley.
-
What 328imobbin is trying to say in his own succinct and elegant way is please use proper english, not txt language when posting. Wecome to the forums. The 246 is a fantastic car. The person to ask your nav etc questions is Jochen, who no longer visits the forum, but if you do a search you will find his email address.

I'll hold my tongue on the spoiler. I think the wheels look OK at that ride height especially with the dark tint on the windows. It would look better with some colour coded side skirts and a bit of motorsport kit. (this would also help make the car look lower without the uneven look created by slamming the rear with heaps of guard tuckage which may make it look more "modified" but certainly makes it look less fast. BMWs look better and more aggressive with slight forward rake. The silver bits look a little lke brush-polished and seem to have a sharp edge on the spoke where the silver stops - this makes them look sharp and much better than in theoriginal photos. Not my style, but they look cool.

Oldie, but true:
