$120 fills are going to be $130 fills for me

No LSD's use specail sulpher based compression lubricants. To help lubricate the gears under extreme loads. 75w140 ns is staright gearbox oil. The drift guys use Redline Shockproof, Heavy (red) version. its quite agressive though. I used a castrol product in my, but for the track im looking at changing to a redline product. You can get all this stuff from BNT.

Hi, now that I have a real keyboard this will be a lot easier to type! The mixer is a full bottle of redline 75w140 NS (make sure its NS) and top it up with Redline MT - 90 until the gearbox is full. The mix is good for medium climates such as New Zealand.

im running a 6.23kgs custom on the s50. Is what i would call a perfect weight for road and track day work. With the right cocktail of redline gear box fluids there is almost no chatter. Only when it gets really hot which only happens when your running it hard. For m50/m20/m30 lightened and balanced m20 flywheels are perfect. I wouldnt really go for lighter than 6 kgs on cast metal. Its a bit risky. You can make a custom billet one for around 7-800. The lighter you go the more mecanical torque you will have however the more noise you will get from the gearbox and really light will make it hard to drive off the line. Excuse any typos di d this on my phone.

GSR's aint that bad. They're as economical as a 1.8 n/a car if you drive them off boost and performance wise when running around 16psi wipe the floor of most vehicles out there. Maintenace is the same as any other car of similar year. The problem is are you ready to as others say, get pulled over and deal with the fines and petrol costs as realistically when your 18 all your goning to want to do if give it stick. Brendon (the guy who helped me with the e30) owns a modded GSR/EVOIII conversion which he has taken to the limit without swapping the engine internals out is more reliaible than half the guys cars on here I hear. But brendon is very mecanically minded and keeps up with a 18 year old car's pro-active maintenace schedule. In saying that an e46 new brake replacement will leave you with a sore bottom. Here brendons GSR at Hampton http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fR7EQT4OI78

Sweet you owe the community some wiring diagrams

Oh and one of my tricks was buying lots of boxes of cheese shapes .... its a good crack replacement.

Sweet ... I did cold turkey 3 times ... with 2 year gaps in between. Have remained quit for nearly two years this time around and will remain so as I have no interest in starting again. The first 2 weeks are pretty rough, But it does get easier. Its just a mind set that you have to set yourself the goal of not smoking. 1 month mark youll start to get your smell/taste back (youll know what I mean ) 3 month mark youll start to stop thinking about them .. and if you can hold out on the 6 month 'F**k it ill just have one itll be sweet' mark then youll be home free. The next thing after this is youll actually start to hate smokers ... it f**ken reeks hahaha

Welcome Mike ... good to have you on board

I have some level of respect for the amount of work that goes into some of these cars. But I dont understand why people take cars like the m5 or m3 and do this sort of stuff to it? It really does look cheesy and horrid. The e39 is very hard to mod well as its whole thing is looking understated. The lines of the car just dont support doing extreme things to it. E46 has some more leeway ont his as the body is more sculped and curvey. A case of more money than sense and unfortunitly in the states there is a massive culture of cars that are extreme. HIN and the fast and furious generation who haven't quite let go of the fact that the movie francis is dead or just 'not down with the kids' anymore.
