Screw ebay ... (well unless you know what youre looking for) Dont make the mistake of magpie syndrome and buying something because you think it will look cool. Have a search around on various overseas e90 forums and work out the look you want and the looks you dont want and go from there.

Look overseas for bumpers and qaulity parts. I had this problem around 6-7 years ago with the e46 .. NZ just doesnt have a market for e9x cars at the moment. Jump on e90 post and check out some of what others are doing over there. You can import stuff from the states.

certainly better than buggering around with a carputer. Nice work !

Will write up a DYI brendon and I did up at HellBM on the e30. Its actually pretty easy to do and not crack the paint. All you need is a guard roller, hammer and cloth or rubber mallet and a good heat gun and a friend to help you out. Takes about 45mins per guard. Its all about cleaning / prepping and taking your time with it and doing the tuck and pull in stages. I pulled nearly 2 inches in the top section without it looking stupid.

These guys did my 330 in full leather about 6 years ago ... awesome stitch work and best grade of leather avail. They also did hi-teks e30 m3 in nappa. expensive .. but highly recommended.

Yes, option recode. You can change it and the speed. Part of the GM5 module.

I had this happen to me along time a go in the e46.. If its the councils fault or caused by the council you have cause to go them for it. The contractor who has done the job has public liability insurance and so does the council. However, your car needs to be 100% road legal and have a current wof or reg. If its not dont bother contacting them as the insurance loss adjuster will investigate until they find a loop hole. Get ready to have all your affairs in order. However if your good then you have grounds to claim.

People have bought those systems and for the money and the 15% gain in sound and what they promise.. it under delivers ... Have a read around about them ... interesting what the forums say. Have a look on e46fanatics.

This only interfaces modules in BMW editible values. If you want to go the ECU route you need to go WinOLS / Gelato and dump the ECU ROM.
