and not chrome ... dude .. jump on http://www.e46fanatics.com .. in the forum / showroom section check out others photos .. educate yourself .. then make your choice from there. DONT BUY CHROME it really does look sh*t on an e46. e46 on 19s 19x8.5 (235 tires) Front 40mm offset 19x9.5 (265 tires) Rear 40mm offset drop it 50mm ... I have some qaulity springs for sale if your interested. here mine (Work Wheels Rezax II forged, polished lip and mesh centers) http://www.work-wheels.co.nz http://www.bimmersport.co.nz/forums/index....=15#entry144581

You all need a 330 ... you wont complain about power vs stock hondas, subaru's, toyotas, nissans etc etc ever again as i've said before time and time again... BMW gets a bad rep due to the amount of import 318's and 320 e36s on the road (no offence to anyone ofcorse) ... just apples with apples guys.

Linkplus g3 Wiring diagram for s50b32 pretty much the same setup as a m54b30http://www.linkecu.com/support/dlandswupda...nstallation/G09 VANOS Timing range for linkplus g3 http://www.linkecu.com/snaps/VANOSTimingPi...view_fullscreen

hey dude ... nice coupe .. when (not if) you decide to do wheels on these give me a yell and ill help you out with the right offsets / sizes and the proper way to lower them. So many get it wrong. Also any other mods body / electrical or other wise .. give me a yell can help ya out. The e46 is great car but very technology loaded .. lots of stuff in the background that makes things happen. And what on a everyday car is easy to fix with a trip to repco .. isnt so on these vehicles. There is a way to do most things on these Welcome.

Does anyone need their Bmw remapped or tuned. Contact Hi Velocity
hybrid replied to Kofe888's topic in Performance
guys .. just ring Gavin ... he wont bite your head off .. Put it this way .. he stripped my s50b32 m3 motor for $200 .. it was the machine shop that cost the $$$ ... He's about as reasonably priced as you can hope an aftermarket tuner to be. -
1200 for new wheels that actually look good ! ?? I would say the oppersite ... thats what I paid for second hand LMs
-
The link g3 will run a m54b30 with double vanos just fine.

Don't mean to be a dick but I highly doubt that ... You would be running the shocks at about 90% compression .. this causes them to work alot more and outside of there range. You will also burst the seals inside your shocks and accelerate shock piston wear. The things people forget about suspension is that the rebound is just as important as the compression. if your wheels are not making controlled weighted contact with the tarmac suited to the road surface they’re on then you not going to have any grip, even though your four wheels appear to be on the ground. A good measure of this is going over a small over bridge at reasonably high speed. Good shocks will compress and rebound and not compress more than once or twice. Thus keeping the vehicles balance of weight towards the ground. the rubber banding is really a bad thing. You can see this effect on badly setup drag cars off the line. soft spring med - firm compression and a hard rebound setting will stop the bouncing off the line for this vehicles. running standard none shortened shocks at 80%-full compression all the time doesn't allow for any rebound control.
-
define well ... anything above 100kph on a normal NZ open road is pretty much un-drivable with little / no suspension travel. its then left upto the tires and chassis which will act like bumpstops and bounce causing uneven weight distrubution thus cause the car to be some what out of control.

Dont go 4300k they are the same as stock BMW xenon (yellow/orange) the heat/kelvin scale goes like this Basically if you want thy nice white/purple colour get 6500k If you want a more white/bluer look get 8000k ... dont get 10k or 4.3k The 8k's are only a little but dimmr .. but not much .. I've been driving for 2 years on them and they are awesome .... far superior to halogens You will need the projector lens and housing as well as you wont get the twinkle that gives you that 'look'
-
sweet now save up and coil over it with some konis' and H&R or eibach springs ... trust me ... youll love it. you can have it nearly as low and still look good ..
-
still need to work on my car for testing ? can still give you remote desk access to my server -> thus e46 if you like ? also .. YES do the google earth upgrade!
-
awesome ... Ill have some new ideas for you soon ...
-
yeap .. however you would need your laptop sitting in the car at the time connected up to ibus. reprogram the LCM change almost everything configurable in the nav computer configure the TV module configure bluetooth configure voice configure your clock to sync off your PC's time yes
-
haha ... yeah its really chatty .. when you un-lock / lock doors it gives you full read outs of this.. When you open anything it will return whats open. When turn your lights on it displays any faults or if you on high beam etc etc .. you get the picture .. anything you do in the car it will log.
-
This is only a taste of whats possible .. Brendon and I think will be making up ibus connectors / interface if there is any interest You can code most things that are connected to ibus. It wont code your engine as this is on a different canbus system / network. However you can code things like the LCM (light control module), nav unit, clock, TV etc etc.
-
Hey guys, Finally got around to building a ibus interface for the e46. Simply plugs into a laptop com port and using Jochens software NavCoder you can log all transmitted ibus traffic. Here is a sample of me starting my car. you guys are stalkers ...
-
sure can .. .. the ROM stores the loader program for the controller. From memory its just a easy off the shelf eprom.
-
When jochen see's this .. ask him to point you towards his piece of software hes written to reconfigure the BMW nav computer. It can do a lot more than just this. youll also need a interface cable and connector between your laptop and ibus.

really couldnt give two shits about jag, that will teach them for inflicting the devil spawn upon us that was the XJ series in the 80s .. Karma bitches!... but bit worried about Land rover though
