    E46 foglights

They cost about 330-350 here from jerry claytons BMW ... what I payed for mine.
  2. love the work ... especially the surge / in tank install
  3. Mikes above info applies to the 'stock position' e30 setup ... if you were to run full coil overs weld new rear strut towers in to take a rear coil overs the almost 50/50 split spring rate would apply, such as andy's race car setup.
  4. cheers man ... for sure ... Mike your post is edited with the upload .... handy spread sheet dude.
  5. Further to what gus said. For the rear: You use replacement adjustible shocks (H&R or Koni or Bilstien etc etc) Adjustible rear perch (Ground Control etc etc ) 'Can' shaped springs (Eibach works with the GC setup) For the front: Adjustible Front shocks insert replacements (H&R or Koni or Bilstien etc etc) Ground Control front adjustible perch (need too cut OEM perch from strut and weld on supplied seating ring (any good welding shop can do this and make sure you get painted professionally) ) Barrel shaped springs (Eibach's if your running GC) Good time to buy Adjustible Camber / Castor top plates .. (not really needed but a nice option) Also a good time to upgrade your control arm bushes .. another option for the front setup ... you can actually buy the Bilstein coil over strut replacements .. which are on the expensive side but worth it if your looking into 5 lug conversions .. something to think about. We went the m3 strut / GC setup route .. about the same price. You can start buying all sorts or extras but this is the main setup ... The perfect spring rate bias on an e30 for street/track is: Fronts at 100-175 pound less than the rear. EG: we are running 525 pound fronts and 700 pound rears (this is hard as f*ck and not a good street rate and is mainly for performance driving / racing) for street you would want something like 325 / 500 for normal street use. or maybe 400/500 depending on your driving style.
  6. If you can afford to do it ... do it .. maybe ask conrod on the forums here for technical details as he has one.
  7. just cover the car on one side next time with old blankets..
  8. too anwser your wheel question. You will be fine on 17x8's mate just make sure you get about a 20 offset wheel .. or run legal spacers at no more than 15 mm using a 30 to 35 mm offset wheel (common). The only time you run into issues is running either 18inch wheels or larger than 8.5 width on anything higher than a 15 offset. I'm thinking I might make an offset chart of real world fitments / solutions to bigger wheels on e30's.
  9. I nearly just fell over reading that ..
  10. youll be fine at 18inch with a 35 or 40 profile
  11. http://www.bravia-advert.com/paint/thead/ pretty cool
  12. just make sure you dont get wheels that have the wrong offset ... else you just end up with the 'umbrella' look .. the wheels should be almost flush with the guards. (check my sig)

  16. You'll need to do brendons and my mod to the masking plate inside the projector housing to make it legal for NZ roads ... otherwise you won't pass your warrents due to the US sidewalk flare flooding right instead of left. Will post the write up in the coming week
  17. yeah ... you have way less room than us... It might be remote boosters for you ? or the hydrylic booster option may fit ?
