Haha yeah was a bit like that. The floor and walls defanitely not square. However I spent a lot of time on the wall where the oven is going as there will be tiles and its dead straight on that which im really happy about. Spent last night playing with all of the draws and cupboards .... we ended up going with Blum everything hardware wise, and its soooo much better than the partical board 60s slide system it use to have haha

Kitchen part 1 .... long long day with the installer getting it all to sit right. These pics dont really show it as lots of tweaks were done to remove the gaps.

looking badass ... good to see youre back at the hill climbs after your off a while back.

You might want to get the wheel checked for straightness and your alignment looked at. If it was enough to jolt the car EG flatten a tire going over a pot hole type of jolt then it will have those two issues. Some wheels are softer than others however.

Yeah its something to do with the fact the sponsor group permissions where migrated then the 'like' option became avilible in the new forum software and it looks like it just hasnt 'taken' for 1 reason or another... will have a better look at it.

Protip: coat bare metal with canuba wax layers to retain polished look.

Andy Timms old car from way back when ... shame to see it stacked, but spose it was going to happen sooner or later :/ Use to be owned by Gerry Hodges a long time ago pre turbo then conrad was involved in turning it into this including all of the forged internals work.

Second Coat -- really starting to come through now

Not impossible ... but very very hard yes. Lots of different sensors types and the digital side of things talks true CAN not LIN bus.

Downstairs has more rooms and has been recently insulated. The floors dont really get cold. But there is insulation between these boards and downstairs gib ceiling.

I'm staying well the f**k downstairs during all of this.

First coat (love the colour of the natural wood) And blocking it back for the second coat

Great to see Tristan. Nothing better than getting your car back after a long period of time. Looks really good btw. Black wheels complete the look IMO makes the car look more hardcore. Also noticed it helps show off the lines of the car a little more. Something that I think was alway missing on e92s

Im on my second set of Primacys PS3. First lot lasted 3 years (and im still using my fronts) Only had to replace the rears. 1800kg 540i too. In that time the performance of them stayed mostly the same unlike other tires ive used. Only a mild loss of grip as the tire gets older after 2 years. PSS are the ultimate for grip, youll likely 'only' get 2-3years out of them as they are a softer compound being a true super sport tire and not a touring tire.

If you can afford it, just do Michelins. tirerack.com. Everything else is pretty much false economy and compromise (If you get the proper rating for your cars weight).

Yeah must say that stain effect he put on was a bit too rando for me to. Would love to oil the boards, but the budget doesnt stretch that far .. so it will be a satin / no gloss finish when done.

Nav Mk4 problems over bumps

Use someone like Polly as normal auto electricians probably dont have the skills (or tools) to do it properly. Its actually very easy .. with the right tools and adhereing to dos and donts. The fact its 'BMW' doesnt make a difference .. theyre all just siemens, bosch, philips etc. Same as your stereo or whatever, A PCB is pretty much a PCB -
haha yeah outside is getting attacked next year! PS there is a palm tree growing out of that spa

If its only updated every now and again it will be OBDII. DS2 on the MSS54 is capabile of around 10hz. Usually youll be looking at 10 degrees above water temp for ambient on stock sensor locations. On S5X motors its on the oil filter housing bosses. I went with a over sized one its about 200x300mm, however I still have a external oil thermostat as its still (kind of) a road car, so while it stays cool it doesnt cheat the warm up cycle to 80 degrees. Another side of hot oil is a drop in pressure nothing dangerous, but expect levels around 25psi. You will also have more chance for cavetation in the sump and air bubble build up as the oil is a lot thinner.

Stickied ... thanks for the post.

And the floors ... Bringing the rimu back to what it should be, the previous coating was quite screwed up and messy. This should be much better.
